Chapter 7

As I lay in bed that night, all I could think about was how this night went from amazing to horrible at the blink of an eye.

When I close my eyes, trying to get some sleep, flashes of dancing with Ashton cross my mind. Oh god.. why can't I get him out of my head. I went into the kitchen to get a glass of water then suddenly out of the blue I hear someone tapping on my kitchen window. Who in bloody hell could be knocking on the window at 2 in the morning. Gosh. All i could see was a slight shadow of a tall figure. I squinted my eyes trying to catch a good view of the mysterious person... wait.... Justin!?    

                                                     

"Lexi... Hey, Lex..  Lexi!" he whispered

"Oh my gosh are you crazy!? What are you doing here so late?" I said

"Look, I probably am but just hear me out ok?" he said  

"I don't want to listen to your crap Justin, I know what i saw" I replied          

"But Lex you got it all wrong i swear, can I just come in so we can talk?" He asked 

"You've got 5 minutes"

I hurried to the front door and silently unlocked it hoping not to wake my parents up. Justin came in closing the door silently behind him. After leading him to my room, i sat back down on the bed while he took a seat on my desk chair.

                                                     

"I'm going to tell you everything because you deserve to know what happened but just please don't interrupt me" He started

"Sure... whatever" I said

"Ok.. so.. uhm.. remember when you turned around and saw me dancing with Ashley.. well when you were daydreaming she came up to me and forced me to dance with her. She literally dragged me to the dancefloor no matter how much I objected. I guess you didn't notice me arguing with her over that" He said

"and then after I saw you with that Irwin kid i got really jealous and my blood started boiling after Ashley told me he was after you and he might take you away from me. I know I shouldn't believe her but you were laughing and so was he so I couldn't help-"

He continued before I interrupted him.

"But what about the kiss?" I asked curiously

"Lex what did I say about you interrupting me?" He said clearly frustrated.

"Sorry, sorry, carry on"

He ran his fingers through his hair and sighed.

"About that kiss well she was all over me at that moment and you just came in at the wrong time. She must have seen you comming because she smashed her lips on mine out of nowhere and you directly left before i could push her off me." He said in a rush

"I don't know Justin. I just don't want to get hurt.." I confessed.

"I know Lex and I'm so sorry about this, I promise this won't happen again ok?" he said comming over to sit beside me.

"Okay.." I replied sleepily

"Get some rest love" he whispered before kissing my forehead.

"Goodnight Justin"

"Goodnight Lexi"

After that I guess we both just fell asleep in each other's arms.
