I wake early enough to put on enough makeup so that nothing would be visible since I gained some new bruises and deeper gashes last night. I do my make up and my hygiene then throw this on:

I lock the door and drive to school. Soon enough, I get there with plenty of time to spare. While I'm sitting in my car making snaps and listening to music while waiting for school to start, Jabez pulls up next to me in his car. He gets out and I unlock my door already knowing that he was planning on getting in. Once he's in, he hands me some breakfast and I look at him kind of weird since he did the same thing yesterday.
"Why do you keep getting me breakfast?" I ask.
"Just because I'm never sure if you are able to get food in the morning since you have to leave hella early." He responds.
"Well thank you, but you don't have t-"
"I want to." He says cutting me off. I ended up sharing the breakfast since it was two sandwiches and two hash browns. As we finish up eating, we start putting our trash in our bag and our hands brush against each other and I blush a little. Jabez notices and just takes my hand and kisses it. I look up and make eye contact with him and we slowly lean in until my back door opens as Eisha gets in.

"Morning bitches" She says.
"Hey E." Jabez and I say trying to settle back into our seats.
"Oh y'all can go on and kiss real quick. Yeah I saw that." Eisha says cracking up.
"Girl what you talking about?" I say with a worried look.
"It's whatever but come on because the first bell finna ring." Eisha says as she opens the door to get out of my car.

When we walk into school, Eisha goes one way while Jabez and I go the same direction since we have the same 1st hour. As we walk into Mrs. Gonzalez room, I notice that our seats were arranged different and we had notecards on our desks. I look around to find my name and right next to me was Jabez, with a note from Mrs. Gonzalez reading, "I thought you two might appreciate these seats. ;)" Well ok then.

Class was pretty boring since all we did was turn in our syllabus and talk for the whole 50 minutes. Jabez and I were mainly on our phones until I put my head down and he tapped me on my shoulder.
"Yes?" I say
"I was thinking that if you don't want to do the video this weekend, you don't have to. Or we could just move it to another day." He says.
"No, it's fine. I'll be ok. Thank you though." I say.
"Are you sure?" He asks with concern in his voice.
"Yes, lol. I'm positive." I say.

He smiles and pats his shoulder for me to lay on. This morning I put on my non-smearing makeup so I was fine with laying on him. We both record each other on our Snaps and post them. Soon enough, Eisha slides up on my story and says "yall would really make a cute couple" I smile and text back "ikr?? but i dont think he sees me like dat." she opens it and sends back "😔". I then get another notification from Jabez. I looked at it and it says, "but he does😉" I look up and turn around to look at Jabez who is just watching basketball videos. I turn back around and text him "deadass?" And he responds with "yes mamas" I got too happy and turned around and hugged him and he just laughed. Soon the bell rang and we got up and walked out the door. As I was about to go to my 2nd hour, Jabez grabs my arm and pulls me into this long hug, which I honestly didn't mind. He lets me go and tells me that he'll see me at lunch.

(Skip to lunch, again)

As soon as I got to lunch, all eyes were on me. I sit my stuff down at a table and then walk to the cafeteria. When I get there, Eisha runs to me saying "Why didn't you tell me the news?" "What news?" I ask. "The news about you and Jabez. Since when did y'all start going out?!"

Yeah ik it's a short chapter but it's just a filler ig. I have no idea where i'm going with this book tbh so y'all help me out.
