Jabez POV
Ok, so of course I didn't want Ali going home because of what happened last night. But that wasn't the only reason. I really do like her and I planned on telling her that tonight, that way maybe we can try something.

I had just got out of basketball practice and I saw Ali sitting in the commons outside waiting for me because she didn't want to be at my house by herself.

"You ready?" I ask her.
"Yeah. I'll follow you." I completely forgot that she had her own car.
One the way home, I go through the drive thru as does Ali. When we get to my house, I hop in the shower real quick. Then I feel the water turn ice cold, meaning that Ali was in the other shower up here. I hop out and put on some gray joggers with a white shirt and my slides. I go downstairs to get my food. On my way back up the stairs, I run into Ali who was basically wearing the same thing as me except she had on a white tank top and gray biker shorts. She looks too bad with them shorts on. She goes to get her food and then walks into my room and sits on the couch in my room. I wave my hand for her to join me on the bed, and she does. We just watch a little YouTube while we eat until she says something.

"Sooooo, about today at lunch." She says putting her trash back into her bag.
"Well what about it." I say, my dumbass.
"What did you want to talk about because you said we could talk about it later." She reminds me.
"Oh yeah. I really like you too. You're not the only one feeling like this. I've always had feelings for you to be honest. When you told me how you felt, I was like damn, because I've never related to anything else like this before. You really do have my heart for real Ali. And I would love to try something with you." I finish off by resting my hand on her thigh.
"Jabez, I don't know what to say." She says.
"Well just think abo-" "Yes!" She cuts me off.
"Yes? You wanna try at this dating thing?" I ask her, making sure I wasn't trippin.
"Yeah, I really do." She says. As she gets up to take our food downstairs, she kisses me on my cheek. When she comes back up, she has her phone and pulls me over to the full body mirror in my room and takes a picture of us. She puts a red heart and tags me. Then she posts it on her story. In no time, Eisha texts in our gc.

J: we trying something out
E: ahhhhhhh!!! im so happy for yall. now all we have to do is get jiggy and tommy some girls.
A: you realize how hard that would be?
J: yeahhh ur right.
E: tru. but anyways, i'll see y'all tmr and dont fuck tn, or im beating ass in the morning. gn!

"She really thinks we finna do that?" Ali says looking at me crazy.
"I mean, she always jumps to conclusions. That really isn't anything new." I say.
"True. Anyways. I was thinking, since we already know every single thing about each other, do you still wanna like go through the like "getting to know each other stage?" She asks. I wasn't even thinking like that.
"I mean there really isn't any point. So I'm down for putting a title on it." I say.
"Well ok then." Ali says with a huge smile on her face. I'm thankful that I'm the reason behind that smile of the most beautiful girl in the world.

"Well I'm about to go to sleep. See you in the morning, baby." Ali says as she makes her way out of my room.
"Wait!" I say. She peeps her head in the door and I get out of my bed.
"Goodnight babygirl." I say as I kiss her cheek. She starts grinning and gives me a hug before she heads to her room.

Once again, another happy ending. This book lowkey not going the way I was planning, but there's always a way for me to turn it around. I need more characters so I can start the drama.
