"What is going on here?!" They pulled out when they heard a voice. It was Carter's mom.
"Mom please I can explain." Carter begged his mother.
"Miss Carson, please leave. I don't want your father to see you here." She told Donatella politely.
"Ma'am please don't deprive your son from seeing me. I really love him and I promise to talk to my father about our relationship." Ella pleaded.
"Miss Carson, my son is not in the same level as you. I suggest you find someone from your class to date." She faked a smile.
"Paige go I will talk to my mother." She nodded in agreement with him and left.

When Ella left, he turned to his mother, "Mom please I love her. I will do anything for Mr Carson to accept me."
"Unless you become filthy rich like him Carter! Can't you get it! You can't be with his daughter. No matter what you do, you can't please him!" His mother sounded angry.
"But mo..." she cut him off.
"I will slap you, if I hear one more word from you. Son listen to your mother, she is not the one for you! Besides you are still young! Think of your education rather than a relationship that won't take you anywhere." She blasted him.
"I'm eighteen mom! I can take decisions for myself. I'm no longer young. I know what is best for me!" He walked out of his mother.
His mother broke down crying. This is the first time Carter raised his voice on his mother. She felt dizzy and her heart was beating faster. She sat down to relax.

When Carter got out of the house, he saw Ella standing there. Her eyes were watery, he run hug to her.
"Everything will be fine." He comforted her.
"I didn't like the way you shouted at your mom. Go back and apologize to her. I don't want to cause any problem in your family." She stated.
"I will apologize to her later. Right no..." Ella trailed him off.
"Right now!!" She scolded.
"Okay wait here. I will be back soon." He excused himself.
He went back to the house and saw his mother lying down lifeless.
"Mom!!!" He screamed. He went outside to call for me help.
"Paige please go and bring your car. I need to take my mom to the hospital!!" He shouted enough for her to hear.
"What happened?!" She began to approach him.
"Don't come here, please go and bring your car right now I beg you." His voice was shaking. He went back to carry his mother. His mother is a very slim short woman.
Ella drove to where Carter was standing with his mom in his arms. He placed his mother in the car and sat besides her.
"Paige please drive faster!!" He pressured her.
He prayed silently that God shouldn't take his mother away from him. He doesn't know what he will do without his mother. He adores his mother more than anything in the world.
Soon they reached the hospital. His mother was rushed to the emergency room. Tears were flowing down from his eyes. Ella hugged him and assure him that his mother will get better.
"I am a bad son Paige. I shouldn't have raised my voice on her. I didn't mean to cause this." He cried as he roamed his hands in his head.
He called his father to inform him. His father is Mr Carson's driver. His father couldn't come right away because Mr Carson didn't allow him. Mr Carson told him that he has to take him to an important meeting before he can go to his sick wife in the evening.

The doctor came out and Carter rushed to him.
"How is my mother?" He asked.
"She is fine now. Her blood pressure was high that's why she fainted. I suggest she rest for awhile and we will discharge her. Please let her avoid anything that will stress her." The doctor smiled and patted his back.
He felt relieved and happy. Later, in the evening his father came to pay the hospital bills so that they discharged his mother. He couldn't bring himself to tell his father when happened. Ella left before his father came to the hospital. He didn't want to cause any drama again. He nearly lost his mom.
