Donatella's POV

"Mommy where are you?" I pulled out of the kiss when I heard my baby crying.
I felt embarrassed so I run out of the kitchen. What was I thinking? Why did I feel so insecure?
"Baby I'm here. I'm sorry to leave you alone." I carried him and patted his back.

"Errm hey, I'm taking my leave. I have a meeting." Carter smiled sadly and began to walk away. Why do I feel like he is hurt? I'm sure someone has hurt him. I hope it's not that bitch. I swear I'm going to deal with her.
"You leaving?" My son raised his head and talked, he sounded disappointed.
"Yes big boy, I will be back again." Carter assured him.
"But you promised to spend the day with us. Remember?" He pouted his face.
"Yes I did bu...." he cut Carter off and said "I woke up because of you. I don't want you to go. Remember we still have games to play." He broke down crying.
"Baby it's okay, He will come back. He has an important meeting to attend." I tried to talk to him.
"I am no longer leaving. I'm staying here for awhile." Carter said to him.
"Yay!" His mood enlightened.
"Now get down!" I forced a smile.
It's still awkward between us. I can't even look at him.
"Mommy wait, can I continue to hug you for awhile. You were crying mommy. You promised not to cry again." My son sounded worried about me.
We were in our own world, I forgot Carter was here. My son became my everything when I thought I lost Carter. Our bond can never be broken. I love him more than life itself.
"Get down and go and play. He is waiting for you." I put him down.
I hurriedly walk away because there were tears in my eyes. I didn't want him to see it.

Third's person POV

Carter's mom has been suspecting that something is wrong with her son lately. He lied to her about surprising her after he get discharged from the hospital. He set her up on some stupid blind date.
She wanted to go and eavesdrop his conversation with his grandfather but she didn't hear anything. She got there late.
She is wondering why Carter is distancing himself from her recently.
Carter left the house early this morning without having breakfast. He always tell her whenever he is about to travel. But this time he broke the news to her when he was leaving. Something is off, she wants to find out what is really going on.

Carter's mom has called few friends she always go out with whenever she is bored.
She got dressed up and was about to leave the house. Suddenly she got a call from a long time lover that was Mr Carson Donatella's father.
Why does he wants now? She thought they cut off all ties after requesting he sent them out of his house. She was tired of being a maid whiles her father is a billionaire. Jealousy got her into poverty and she hated herself for forcing to marry a man who didn't love her.
"What do you want?!" She spoke harshly on the phone.
"Hello Lisa." He replied her.
"Tell me what you want!!" She was harsh again.
"Alright then let me broke the news to you. My daughter is back here! Keep your son away from her! I will kill him if I learn he has seen my daughter! Remember your promise!" He sounded dangerous.
"I remember my promise very well. My son will never get involved with your daughter again!" She was pissed off.
"I repeat if your son meets my daughter, your little secret will come out. And I'm sure your precious son will put you into jail!" He ended the call.
What the fuck is happening? Why is Ella back here? I have to find a way to get rid of her before my son comes back.
