The Secret Marriage

Chapter 3

"Mom, please talk to me. You can treat me as if I don't exist. I'm sorry mom." Carter's mom has been avoiding him since she got discharged yesterday. He knows that his mother is disappointed in him and he has been trying to talk to her.
"Carter!" His father called him.
"Yes dad" he responded.
"I'm dropping you off to school so hurry up." His dad told him.
"Dad but won't you go to the office with Mr Carson today?" He got curious because this is the first time he is taking him to school.
"No he is taking the day off. He asked me to send Ella to school today. I guess you can join us." He said.
"Okay dad. I'm almost done." He was smiling to himself.
"Meet us at the gate because I don't want Mr Carson to see you entering his car." He cautioned him.

Donatella didn't feel like going to school today. She is still thinking about what happened yesterday. She wants to ditch school so that she talks to Mrs Alder. She wants to prove to Mrs Alder that she is good for his son.
"Wake up Ella!!" Her father barged into her room without knocking.
"Dad I'm not going to school because I'm not feeling well." She whined.
"Get up right now!! Be ready by 7:30am , Mr Alder is taking you to school today. If you don't get down by 7:30am I swear you wouldn't like what I will do to you!!" He commanded.
"Dad I'm serious. I'm not really feeling well." She pleaded.
"Be ready by 7:30am!!" He shut the door and left.
She groaned and got up. She doesn't like his father. His father is discipline and too strict. She hasn't seen him smiling since he divorced her mother. She really wants to live with her mother but her mother insist that she stays there till she completes school.
She got ready before 7:30 like her father instructed her.
"You will eat breakfast in school because you are late. I ordered Mrs Alder to pack your food." He said without looking at her.
"It's okay. I can eat at the school's canteen." She was pissed off by her father's behavior.
"Young lady, you will do what I say! Go to the kitchen and take your food now!!" The tone of his voice made her panicked.
Mrs Alder brought the food to her. She glared at her dad and left the house.
She entered the car and greeted Mr Anderson.
"Ma'am, would you mind if my son goes with us?" He asked her.
"No sir." She responded. She was happy that Carter is going with her today. They always go to school together in her car. She waits for Carter at the road side everyday.
"Errrm Mr Alder, please call me Ella." She hates when they act formal to her.
"I can't Ma'am. Your father instructed that no one should call you by your first name. I'm sorry." He told her.
She wanted to strangle her dad. She can't understand why her father is behaving this way.
"Hey Paige." Carter said when he entered the car.
"Carter!! Her father said never talk to his daughter. Besides no one is allowed to talk to her informally." His father scolded him.
Ella was devastated. Her life is such a mess. She hates her father more than ever now.
They got to school in no time. Carter realized that Paige was crying when they got out of the car.
Carter held her hands and ran off with her. They ditch school together.
They went to the nearest cafe. He comforted her till she was okay. They kissed and laughed.

Ella's POV

"Paige I want to tell you something." He kissed me at the back of my hands.
"What is it?" I got curious.
Paige, I think we should get married before graduating from high school next month" Carter said to me.
"You don't mean that, do you? I asked surprisingly
"I really mean it babe. I love you so much and I don't  ever want to lose you." He replied with full of emotions in his eyes.
"I don't want to lose you too but we are still young for this please!" I felt frustrated because I didn't know what do to make him stop thinking that way.
"Paige! I think you don't love me enough to marry me! It's okay" he said sadly.
"Come on babe, I love you so much more than you think!." I almost shouted at him.
"Then prove it to me by marrying me!" He stated.
"What!! Are you crazy? No,I'm  too young to get married to you!" I got furious.
"Fine, suit yourself!" He busted out angrily.
"Babe I will marry you, so don't be angry at me" I tried to calm him down. I hates to see him this way. He is my only weakness in this world.
