Writing always calmed Flug down. And, paired with him cheering himself up, it was extremely useful for his mood.

Although he didn't write anything creative as in stories and such, by writing he captured all the information he needed to remember. Or, in this case, all new thoughts and ideas that he will tie together into a plan later. Even making a plan is a plan itself! At least it was a clear plan in Flug's mind.

As a result of all the Doctor's writing, he concluded what he would do if Black Hat was to ask him about the mask and he constructed a plan B path. Yeah, he couldn't make that into a plan. Well, he can always improvise on the spot! The best thing he can do right now is think about his back-up strategies - the emergency pathway and yet another trust-saving plan.

The extra path was somewhat longer, but much, much more safer - as it was meant to be. It includes going past the zone, where stable patients were kept. The stable patients didn't have doctors visiting them all the time, some even could be alone for a few days, only "visited" by staff members that gave out food. And although this path would suggest Flug most likely being completely alone with his real-life demon, only the thought of which is very terrifying for the Doctor, he would prefer that to losing all the trust of his boss by letting an accident happen. Just reminds him how important trust is in all kinds of relationships...

Bringing up the trust, what about the mask plan? Well, he'll show that he's against this piece of clothing, because there's a high chance of his patient having this exact opinion about it. It's not really moral, knowing that he'll make himself seem innocent when really he's been considering it too, but who cares? Not him, totally. So, if Black Hat ever asks about it, which is very likely, he'll just say that his coworkers gave him the mask and told him to put it on his patient, of course, not caring about the patient himself whatsoever, but Flug's different from them - he does think about the villain. That will show that he cares. And because he's making up a legend that he was ordered to put it on Black Hat, but refused, this story will have a contrast, so it's easier to compare, making him seem even better. But if the demon is to figure it out, it's pretty much over. After all, his plan is not that sweet.

But was he ever moral, doing evil inventions that can hurt millions as a hobby? Pfft, he doesn't need to think of morals.

Actually, about his hobby - he remembered several times his inventions were on the news. That was overwhelming him with positive feelings, he could never forget that! Speaking of overwhelming things, someone actually tried to find him once! But they were unlucky. Unlucky as in losing their life.

The memories made Flug smile warmly. Yeah, he's still proud of that one - in fact, it was so good, he doubted anyone would ever try to get to him again. At least once the media did it's job correctly.

So, turns out he doesn't have a plan. He'll just have to go there and not be stupid. It's okay, he's good at that. All he needs to do is believe in himself! It's always the key.

And so Flug started his walk to Black Hat's quietly closing the doors behind him, still not knowing fully what to do. Again, he'll figure it out.

***

Flug's cheerful thoughts that he had all the time he walked didn't fully help - he was really close to the corridor where Black Hat's now old room was located, and he was only sure of one thing - he knew how to tell the demon about his new room. Telling him about that wouldn't be the hard part at all. The hard part is explaining the item behind his back - explaining the mask and why he had it.
