15 - Dreamy

Black Hat's footsteps became quieter and quieter as time passed, giving Flug some small amount of time to take control of himself and not squeal because of what just happened.

After some time that the scientist was unaware of at the moment the demon couldn't be heard anymore. That let the Doctor to finally come back into this world, leaving his quite cozy imaginary one.

He blinked a few times, a smile creeping it's way on his face slowly as he thought about the fact that he actually made the first step that, as a yet another plus of this situation, was accepted by his love interest. He spun around a couple of times, right after sitting down in a chair, too happy to care about the headache he just got. He hugged himself, sitting back in the chair and beginning to dream again.

He felt like he had a moment to himself, so he figured he could take his time and please his desire to relive the recent moment, or at least try to do so. He stared into the ceiling, his eyes slowly unfocusing, and put his legs up to his chest, barely fitting in the chair, but no caring enough about it right now.

It felt extremely good to finally have someone constantly with him, supporting him. All of those actions reminded the human why this wasn't a bad idea at all. Come to think of it, this will help him get over any leftovers of that strange regret he had. That wasn't even really regret, it's more of... overthinking and fear of change.

Being sure of what he felt did make things easier, but in the end Black Hat's support is way more effective. That demon's actions really affected Flug on a pretty large scale, huh? His melancholy was gone in a matter of minutes because of him. It was pretty much as simple as talking for a bit, being hugged and receiving a compliment, and he already felt a lot better after that.

The scientist practically melted, rethinking every moment of that encounter and every action that the villain performed. That wasn't a simple talk, that was a pleasant intercourse with his loved one, that wasn't a simple hug, that was a heartwarming moment of wholesomeness, that wasn't a simple compliment, that was a seemingly unnecessary small remark about his hygiene. Yeah, a small remark about his smell from a creature that doesn't have a nose.

Wait. That doesn't sound right.

Flug suddenly furrowed his eyebrows, one of them rising in a questioning manner. He came back to their kitchen once again, his eyes focusing on the dark red ceiling. He thought about it for a couple of long seconds, revising his memory of the moment. His smile slowly decreased behind his paper bag, turning into something natural.

Eventually, it got to him. Black Hat smelled with his tongue.

Flug has noticed that his tongue looked a lot like a snake's one, but he could never think that it was used just like an actual snake's tongue. Wow, that villain's anatomy got more interesting as the days passed.

Immediately, questions flooded the Doctor's mind as he dreamily smiled came back. Just how good is his smell, knowing that he has no nose and has to use his tongue for such a purpose? What if he had some more powers related with that tongue, like feeling other's emotions or something?

'I wonder how that tongue would feel...' He suddenly thought, flinching at this right after, as if someone could hear him think that. Well, if that demon wasn't around, then he's probably safe.

Flug just rolled his eyes and sighed because of himself, smiling slightly, an insult "horny bastard" floating somewhere in the back of his mind. He then gained enough courage to forget himself, coming back to thinking about his relationship with the demon.

A few seconds later he suddenly decided to readjust himself, rotating his whole body and putting his legs on one of the armrests of the chair while his head rested on the other one, making him only able to look at the ceiling. He then continued with his thoughts, not caring enough to pay attention to how unpleasantly hard the chair was to lay his bagged head on it.
