Ryan became silent for a minute.

"You actually sounded like an adult just now, y'know" he laughed. Jackie giggled. "Finally not a little kid?" He perked up excitedly with a smile.

"maybe?" Ryan shrugged teasingly as he finished eating. Jackie huffed then giggled.

"y'know I have a great family....a younger brother and sister. I am the oldest.....I was good at everything when I was a kid...i am not trying to brag....but there was this urge in me to prove myself.....then as I grew up..... Everyone's expectations grew and I thought I could handle it...but I became scared too....and in my high school I was bullied by my own teacher.....I...I loved to draw I wanted to be an artist...but my dad was against it, they didn't hear me out....and I became depressed....but no one cared....to this day... I still have toxic parents they wanted me to be perfect again...and I am still trying......" He sighed then took a deep breath." Haha sorry for ranting." He said he don't know why just receiving a little kindness made him emotional.

Jackie saddened. "Ryan... that isn't fair, nobody is perfect. And no good parent should expect their child to be. I think it's amazing that you love art, and you should get back into it if it's something you are passionate about" Jackie said softly while caressing the others cheek.

"y-yeah...but I left that world already... I thought maybe he is right after all he is my dad...but at this point, I am just surviving until I get a job.." he smiled. He never tells anyone about himself so much, but today his mouth is not listening to his mind.

Jackie nodded slowly. "well, it doesn't have to be your career. It can always be a hobby, you can still enjoy it."

"yeah, I am still doing that little by little, if my dad knew he will burn everything" he laugh. "That man is scary"

"I hate him to be honest" Ryan stood up. "But let's forget the sad talk. You wanted to go on a picnic right?" He said, cleaning the table.

Jackie perked up. "Really?" He asked with a smile.

"yeah... I need to look up for picnic spots."

Jackie nods with a smile and gets up. "I'm gonna get the stuff ready!"

"haha, you are excited, we should go tomorrow or the day after tomorrow?"

He pouts a bit and sighs "ookkaaayyyy.."

He smiles as he lay on the bed, he was so tired, that he falls asleep in an instant. Jackie cleaned up the house a bit.

Ryan slept a lot as he was finally free from exams, and was still sleeping at 6 A.M.Jackie was sleeping as well as he had taken a nap.

After a while, Ryan woke up. Rubbing his eyes. Jackie was napping on the floor in the living room.

He looks at Jackie "hey you got a sofa why are you sleeping here?" He sat beside Jackie

Jackie yawned and slowly woke up. "Oh... the carpet is soft..." he mumbled. The living room was quite cold.

"you should have slept in you know, this room gets cold quickly," Ryan said.

"Hm..? Ah.. your blanket is the only one in the house. And it's okay I don't mind it too much." He mumbled softly while hugging himself.

Ryan sighed. "I still have other blankets y'know , you could have asked." He stood up to get freshened. "By the way, you should get ready, I will make the food, ok?"

"O-okay-" Jackie mumbled, but then did a light sneeze. Sniffling and rubbing his eyes.

"cute" Ryan said, as he coughed and went into the washroom. 'what was that?' he thought embarrassed.
