Jackie stood facing away from Ryan. He trembled a bit. "R-.Ryan.," he mumbled. He turned to look up at Ryan, and held up the little bottle of sand... it was purple.

Ryan stood there his eyes widen. "It can't be-yo-you are pregnant?" He asks."Bu-" Before he could finish there was a knock on the door. It was the lady with the doctor. He apologized to them and tell them everything is ok, after that they left.

Jackie stood there still. He was afraid by Ryan's reaction. He began to tear up, he fell to his knees and started crying as he hugged himself.

Ryan came back, as he saw Jackie he hurried to him. "Hey, why are you crying? please don't cry" He said softly. He was still confused, and how he got the other pregnant.

Jackie sniffles and covered his face with his hands, the small bottle falling to the floor. "I-I'm so so sorry... I'm so sorry.." Jackie said between small sobs. Jackie had always imagined the moment he got pregnant to be happy, filled with hugs and happy tears and excitement. But right now he felt guilt and fear. The last thing he wanted to do was make Ryan uncomfortable or feel pressured.

"Hey...." Ryan pulled him on his lap as he hugged him. "why are you saying sorry? there is nothing to be sorry about, y' know" he rubbed Jackie's back.

Jackie clung to Ryan and whimpered into his shoulder. Hiding his face.

"But...when was it..." Ryan tried to think while hugging the other.

Jackie sniffled a bit and started to think. "Ah, an a-a week before we came here. when you told me about the tickets, a-and we. I-in the bath.." Jackie said softly.

"Oh, I get it now. " Ryan chuckled. "look I am not against you giving birth or having my own kids... I am worried about your health, and the delivery time.... how will that happen? my one friend is a doctor...but then we have to disclose that you are not human....and I am scared that humans will come looking for mermaids, or they will take you away." he said looking down

Jackie closed his eyes and sighed. "I-I. I don't know..." he whispered. "Do... Do you not. want to have the child.." Jackie asked in a shaky whisper. His heart aching a bit

Ryan sighed. "Of course I want to, I want to have everything which you can give, I am just worried." He said.

Jackie sighed. "W-Well... that's something to worry about at a later date..." Jackie said softly

"So, is it a boy or a girl?" Ryan asks, softly.

"Y-you wanna find out..?" Jackie asked softly.

"Yeah? hey, do you think I am angry or upset?" Ryan looked in Jackie's eyes.

"N-no, I know you'd never be angry about this.. y-you were just surprised, and worried.. but.. it hurt I guess..." he mumbled softly. "When I shook that, bottle, and it turned purple, I-... I smiled.. when I turned to you and showed you, you just.. you looked like you freaked out, a-and... and that scared me a lot.. it hurt that you didn't seem happy.." Jackie said as he began to tear up more. "I-I'm sorry, I'm being selfish... you're not forced to react the same way, I-. I'm sorry.."

"Hey..... I am not freaked out..... I was... I was just surprised....... I don't want to lose you....and don't wanna hurt you....and y' know all those thoughts were running through my mind.....how will I handle it...and all.....but if I forget all that stuff.....then I really am happy....like who will not be when they are going to have a kid, with the person they love?" Ryan asks, caressing Jackie's cheek. "I am sorry if it seemed that way..." He said as he kissed Jackie's cheek.

Jackie looked up at the other with teary eyes. He smiled gently. He took a deep breath and picked up the bottle. He put it in front of his stomach. "Okay, Let's close our eyes, after I shake it I'm going to count to three, and we look," Jackie said softly with a smile.
