"Jeongyeon?" Jungkook asked, raising his eyebrow a little at her and smiling in the littlest way possible: no one would've noticed it if it weren't for Jeongyeon's keen observatory skills.
Jimin right then smacked his forehead with his palm and shook his head. "What have you done to him?" He asked, sighing. "Jungkook now can't recognize his friend from years ago because of a witch."
Jeongyeon scoffed. "What can I do?" She shrugged and spoke dramatically. "It's in human nature to advance towards petals even when they're forced to touch a thorn." She said cheekily, coming up with it in a split second.
"Don't sprout stupid poetry in front of me. I hate poetry," he muttered.
Meanwhile, Jungkook neared them leisurely. "I thought you said you both became good friends."
Jimin looked repeatedly at both Jeongyeon and Jungkook. "Wait what? Who're friends here? Me? And her? Who told you?" He stopped his sight at Jeongyeon. "That's like saying a pig started to fly. It isn't happening anytime, sweetie," he said sarcastically.
Jeongyeon almost spurted out in laughter.
When she didn't say anything to defy, Jimin shook his head again. "I don't know what runs in your head."
"Anyways," Jungkook interrupted, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "What are you doing here? What's happened?"
Jimin turned away. "I'm not doing this shit again."
Jeongyeon smiled. "Don't worry. It's nothing. I got a job here and he's being overly irresponsible so I'm just treating him like he should be."
"In a friendly way?" Jungkook sneakily asked.
Jeongyeon snorted. "You could say."
"Shut up," Jimin intervened. "I'm leaving," he turned to Jungkook. "Are you coming with me or not?"
"Hell no," he said confidently. "I just came here. I'm going to buy some stuff that I told you to buy and you weren't buying for me, and then I'm going to have a chat with Jeongyeon." He looked at her, and taking the cue, she smiled back.
Jimin again whipped his head between the two persons. "What on Earth is going on here?"
"Nothing," Jungkook retaliated, just not subtly, still smiling.
"Yeah, it's nothing. We're just going to discuss about something," she said, turning to him. "Which doesn't matter to you, so," she added.
"I'm out of this." Jimin threw his hands up in the air, picked his packets again which he kept down for a while and stormed towards the door. Before exiting, he turned back and shot Jungkook a glare. Without a word, he stuck two fingers near his eyes and then directed his fingers towards Jungkook. That was all he did before he slipped out of the store.
Jeongyeon was thankful there was less population or else a mess would've been created because of his behavior.
Jungkook chuckled heartily. He walked to the counter and lay his arms over it horizontally.
