"You must be freaking kidding me."
Jeongyeon heard Jimin mutter behind her as she walked into the hall of her apartment. She smirked smugly, picked the smartphone from the coffee table and pressed on the backspace key continuously, erasing the whole message she had typed out. Turning around, she faced Jimin and he stopped in his tracks.
"You bet. I am not kidding you." She placed her hand on her hip. "You agreed on doing anything."
"I meant anything within boundaries!" he retaliated in a disbelieving tone.
"Then what do you think this is? Out of limits?" When Jimin didn't reply to the rhetorical question, she continued. "This is not illegal. It's perfectly fine."
Jimin sighed in exasperation.
"It's just as unofficial as your cute lawsuit thingy was," she sniggered. Jimin scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"I thought I wouldn't have to ever go against my own words," he huffed out as he raked his hand through his hair. Jeongyeon snickered. After what seemed like an accumulation of courage and acceptance of defeat in the battle, he raked his hand through his hair, helplessly looked around and then at her.
"Where do we start?"

"For God's sake," Jimin cried, throwing his hands up in frustration as he let go of the broomstick in his hand and took a step back in fright. "Why the hell is your house filled with every kind of insect? What are you, an etymologist?"
Jeongyeon rolled her eyes. "I just moved in here. Of course, I didn't have the time to do pest control, especially with you continuously bothering me," she spat at him as she wiped the glasses of the windows. "And what the hell? Are you dumb? Insect study is called entomology, not etymology. Dumbo," she snickered at him in mock.
He picked up the broom and scowled at her. "How the hell am I supposed to know that? I don't study words and their meanings."
"That is etymology."
"What?"
"Uh-huh, nothing. It was an ironic pun. You won't get it anyway."
Jimin simply scoffed and continued doing his work, stomping on some cockroaches with his slippers and killing them right away. Jeongyeon continued wiping the glass panes too.
After a minute, Jimin spoke up as he placed a hand on his hip. "Actually, you're wrong," he stated.
Jeongyeon turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow. "Oh, really, now?"
"I just remembered, etymology is the study of words and their origins, basically their history."
"That's what I said it was."
"No, you said it was about words and their meanings."
"It's both."
"Nope, it isn't."
