How you changed my mind

Max's Chapter One

I open my eyes to my dark room. I yawn as I stretched out of my covers. I rolled out of bed and went to my morning routine. It starts with my morning workout. I do 50 pushups, 50 crunches, 2 five minute planks, 10 squats, 25 jumping jacks, and lastly I lift weights for 30 minutes. Then I hury to take a ten minute shower and get dressed. It's then time for breakfast so I eat and help my mom get my sister dressed. I light the candles around the house for mom and then leave to go do my job.
"Maxillary! Don't forget your bag!" my mom yells.
"Thanks mom bye!" I respond as I grab the bag.
Once I'm outside I start to run through the forest to where I work. Being a forest elf sure helps when you are running late. I laugh to myself about it as I take a short cut and see my work building pulling up. I look at the nice door with the bright shinning sign. The building is just like my home it's underground but the inside of it is much different. I open the door and walk in as it shuts behind me.
"Good Morning Mr. Bridgetree, How was your night?" I ask as I wall to the back of the store to get ready.
"Pretty uneventful, what about yours? Any news yet?" Mr. Bridgetree asks hopefully.
"None yet, I'll tell you as soon as I find out," I respond as I grab the boxes.
"Well hopefully we find out soon, be safe on your trip see you when you get back!"
I wave to him as I leave the shop to deliver the boxes to the home. I deliver to two houses a day and since the village is small that means everyone gets their boxes. I get  to have my boxes free then so I do it to help my mom out. I walk down the path and listen to the wind as I walk. Since it was early in the morning the sun was rising over the treetops and the cool breeze was running threw my hair. I start to hum a melody as I walk and I let the forest calm me.
Time skip
I walk out of the shop after saying bye to Mr. Bridgetree. I had delivered all the boxes for today and needed to go home for lunch. I decide to take the short cut again as I run through the woods. Once I arrive home I set my shoes to the side and go to work out a little. After working out I grab some food and eat real quick. My little sister comes into the kitchen to see me. I have an hour before combat training so I pick her up and we go to her room to play. My mom comes inside from being in the garden.
"How was your morning honey?" she asks as she makes my sister food.
"It was good, how was yours mom?" I ask as I pick my sister up and put her in her chair.
"Oh you know, very tiring honey. But don't worry about me. Have you ate yet?" she asks.
"Yeah mom I had something I think I'm going to go on a walk before training," I say.
"Okay have fun, Be safe Max!" she says as I walk out the door.
