How you changed my mind

Max's chapter three

"Mij!" I shout as I walk into the cave.
    The boy I have began to fall in love with turns to the sound of my voice. I could tell from the way he looked that he had a rough morning. I gave him a from as I walked down the entrance hill. I  hop off the small ledge and landed on the ground with a thump. I am smiling again as I feel the color in my cheeks rise. Just him being in reachable distance made my heart flutter. I run towards him as fast as possible. As soon as I got to him I jump on him and hug him as tight as possible.
"I missed you it's been so long!!" I says as we pulled away with a huge smile.
"It's only been a week silly," He says as he lightly chuckles.
"Well that's to long! I miss you as soon as you leave," I say mumbling the last part.
   He ruffled my hair as he pushed me away. He turns and starts to walk away. Before he's not facing me he motions for me to follow. I start walking after him as he starts to say something.
"You've been crying. What happened'" He says as he sits on a large rock.
"I seen the boy I told you about... He made me talk to him and he kissed me after telling me he still loved me," I mutter as I sit down next to him.
"He's so stupid! He doesn't deserve someone as amazing as you. You deserve someone who's gonna treat you right and make you happy," He says with a loud tone of voice.
"I know... But what about you?! You look like something happened to upset you," I say looking up at him with a worried face.
"Something happened with my mom..." He mutters as he turns away from me.
"You know she is wrong about whatever she said. She shouldn't treat you like that. You truly deserve better," I say sternly as I grab his check and turn his face towards me.
"I know I-I just don't understand what I did to her..." He says with tears streaming down his face.
"You didn't do anything wrong! She is just a stupid jerk who has to many things wrong with her so she takes them out on others! She never deserved you and should have never gotten the chance too. She should not hit you for being you. There's absolutely nothing wrong with you," I say as I wipe his tears and place my forehead to his.
"But she's my mom! I want her to be proud of me! To actually want me for once!" He shouts as he stands up and turns away from me.
"I know honey...." I mutter.
    He walks away from me and stands by the water. I shouldn't have done that, I think to myself. Why would I do that! I know that he is forcing himself to not be gay. I know that he says he's not. Oh but I just must place my forehead on his and call him honey! I'm so stupid! I have to stop rushing it I can't make him hate me before I get him to like me. I think as I walk towards him. I stand next to him as we look across the water. I feel him grab my hand and turn to look at him. He continues to look forward like he's not doing it. I blush as I look back to the water. We stand their for a few more minutes. I remember I have class and sigh.
"I have to go.. I have class soon," I say with a pout.
"Ah, that's ok I'll see you next week," He says with a small smile as he walks to the boat.
"You'll see me at the accepted camp by then," I say with a smile as we arrive at the boat.
"Yeah hopefully," He says with a chuckle.
"You will!" I say as I go to get my good bye hug.
   He wraps his arms around my back and waist. He places his check on the top of my head. I hug back with a big smile. I feel his arms move as he pulls himself away. I start to feel sad as I loosen my grip on him. What if this is the last time I see him I think. I am shocked as I feel him put his head on mine. I blush as he starts to rub my jawline. His other hand was slightly in my shirt as he had it firmly pressed against my waist. He looks me in the eyes with his bright golden ones. We both start to lean in for a kiss. Suddenly a  fish jumps out of the water and lands back in with a loud splash. Drawmij pulls away at the sudden sound.
"I'll see you at camp Max," He says as he kisses my forehead and climbs in the boat.
"Yeah!" I say blushing with a big grin.
"Have fun at training!" He says as he waves bye.
"Be safe! I'll miss you!" I say waving.
  I stand there watching him go. As he leaves all I can think about is his big cheeky grin and how he had a slight blush. God he's so cute! I can't believe we almost kissed! I'm sad we didn't but at least he kissed my forehead.  I think giggling to myself. I turn once I can barley see him and run towards the ledge to leave.

AUTHORS NOTE
Sorry it took so long to update I have been going through some things at home and at school. I will try and update more but finals are coming up and I need to study. I will post more during christmas break though! I hope you enjoyed bye! Also I drew the picture sorry if it looks bad!
