Love in a College Town

First Day

My name is Dylan Marie Richmond and i am 20 years old and i am a freshman at Georgia Southern. I've had boyfriends in the past that have been jerks and taken granted of me. I am a country girl and i grew up on my daddys farm. I love to hunt and fish and ride my four wheeler.

Today is my first day at Georgia Southern and i am really nervous.
"Hi my name is Dylan Richmond. Im here for my dorm key."
"Ah yes right here Ms. Dylan. You are in room 204. I hope you have a good year."
"Thank you mam." I said walking to my room with my arms packed. I have like 7 suit cases and like 4 bags not including my pillow.
As im walking to my room i run into someone dropping my pillow and a bag.
"Im sorry." I said while looking up to see a gorgeous face.
"Why hello pretty lady my name is Luke are you new here?"
"Yes i am my name is Dylan."
"Where are you headed?"
"My dorm. I just got my key."
"What dorm are you in?"
"204."
"Oh cool im in 205. Looks like we are neighbors."
"Cool. Well im gonna go set my room up."
"Do you need any help. I finished already."
"That would be wonderful."
"Here hand me some bags."
I handed him my pillow and two bags.
We walked into my room and started unpacking. He pulled out pictures out of my bag and mad a face.
"Whats wrong?"
"Who is this?"
"That is my older brother Chris."
Thats when he started tearing up.
"Hey baby what is wrong?"
"I had a brother named Chris who died last year."
"Oh my gosh im so sorry."
I pulled him to the bed and let him cry on my shoulder.
"Shhh its ok im here. I wont let anything happen to you."
After about 10 minutes of crying he looked up.
"Will you go on a date with me."
i moved the hair out of his eyes.
"I would love too."
"Can i have your number?"
"Yeah here hand me your phone."
I put in my name as Baby😘 and handed him my phone.
"Here put yours in mine."
He took it and typed his number in.
"Hey i have to go meet my friend for our concert thing at the bar. Ill call you later."
"Ok. Ill call you later."
i kissed him on the cheek and he walked out the door.
I looked down at my phone and saw he put his name as Sexy Beast😎. Oh lord. I many have gotten my hands full.
