"If I knew the future, I would never have taken another step"
THIRD POV
The three young males laid scattered across the large room. One was on the bed, leaning against the headboard, scrolling through something on his phone. The other was on the floor, laying on his stomach, his elbows holding him up as he read a book called 'Practical English Usage'. The third male sat on the window seat, with his head against the window, as he listened to the cries of the clouds embedded in dark scape above, outside, with his eyes closed.
"What time are the hyungs coming back?," Jungkook said as he closed his book shut and turned to lay on his back.
"I don't know kookie, they said it was going to be late," Jimin said without looking up from his phone.
"I was really looking forward to the ice cream tonight," Jungkook said pouting.
"What was so important that they had to hurry off like that?", Taehyung joined in as he peeled his eyes off the window to look at the other two.
"Why are you guys asking me? I'm in the dark as much as you are," Jimin said annoyingly as he finally looked up.
"Well hyung," Jungkook stressed on the word, "You are the oldest out of us three,".
"You know are the true definition of a brat," Jimin said as he switched his phone off and glared at Jungkook.
Taehyung and Jungkook, both, chuckled lightly and made their way towards the mochi that sat, pouting on the bed. Jungkook plopped himself in front of the mochi, cross legged, and taehyung went on to hug his soulmate.
"Jiminie, you are the brat most of the times," Taehyung said as he hugged him.
"Yah you guys! Stop it!" Jimin exclaimed as he hit taehyung on the arm.
He looked at taehyung and his frown turned into a smirk as he launched on top of taehyung to tickle him.
Taehyung yelled and laughed uncontrollably as Jungkook stepped off the bed in fear of being next. Jimin stopped what he was doing and taehyung looked at him questioningly as he took deep breaths. Jimin glanced at Jungkook and then back at Taehyung and he immediately understood what Jimin was trying to say.
They both slowly walked towards the maknae as they got off the bed. The golden maknae, on the other hand, stood ready for the attack and as expected the 95 liner charged at the youngest.
The childish tickling war ended with the maknae line panting and laying on the floor, as they stared at the white fake ceiling with lights that were on dim setting.
Soon their breathing evened out and a comfortable silence wrapped itself around them. Various kinds of thoughts swam in each of their minds. But one common thought the three shared at the moment was that they were bored. Very much.
"I'm bored," they all said in unison. They stared at each other before bursting into laughter.
"Let's go out!," Taehyung said.
"It's like 11 dude...I don't think we'll have anywhere to go," Jimin said.
"Well a bar or a club is always open," Jungkook said. The two 95 liners stared at the youngest with a questioning look on their face.
"What? I'm not a kid anymore..and besides, I think it's a great idea...it's a working day today and tomorrow, so its likely to be isolated..meaning it'll be safe and no risk of anyone seeing us," Jungkook elaborated avoiding their gaze.
The bangtan boy's vacation had started not less than 2 days ago. It was their first break since their debut in 2013 and now it was 2019. 6 years with no break. And now they finally had one and unfortunate enough, their hyungs had ditched them on the day of the very anticipated movie night.
But the maknae line understood the responsibilities of being an idol and being part of an influential band. It required everything. And they would always give their everything. Even if it was on break.
It was a tuesday night. The chances of anyone being out in the night on a working day in seoul was quite low. The chances of the bar/club being packed on such a day was also very low. Sure there would be people here and there, but it wouldn't be a big trouble to hide their identity and enjoy.
So with that as the logic of it all, the three proceeded to get dressed. And by getting dressed, they simply put a jacket and their shoes on. They preferred to dress casual and comfortable.
"Jungkook get the keys and check if the other set is there or not!," Jimin shouted at the maknae who was still upstairs.
"Will do hyung!," Jungkook shouted back.
In a few minutes, Jungkook appeared at the door with a set of keys in his hand.
"The other set wasn't there," Jungkook said as he put his shoes on.
"Ah these hyungs know us well," Taehyung remarked as they made their way out of the dorm and Jungkook inserted the key in the lock and it clicked, locking the door.
Their hyungs knew that the three would die out of boredom if they didn't go out. So they made sure to keep the other set of keys just in case they came back early and found that they were not there.
Taehyung texted on their bangtan family group chat that the three had gone out and they were taking a car with them. Living for so long together, he knew their hyungs had a tendency to get unnecessarily worried all the time.
A ding sounded from Taehyung's phone, indicating a text message. He opened his phone again to find five messages saying:
Seok hyung: its really late..don't
Seok hyung: Nvm..you're adults
Taehyung smiled knowing that the other hyungs probably calmed Jin hyung down and reminded him that the maknae line weren't teenagers anymore. He read further on :-
Yoong hyung: be safe
Hoseok hyung: don't stay out too late
Joon hyung: no funny stuff.
And taehyung smirked knowing what he meant.
"Hey Namjoon hyung said no funny stuff," Taehyung told the other two as they got into the car.
The other two chuckled and sighed as they both said together,
"Like we'll listen".
Taehyung shook his head so as to show disappointment, but Jimin slapped the back of his head as he said
"you ain't any different".
And they continued their bickering as they drove into the night, unaware.
Unaware that this would be the last night of their smiles and laughs.
A/N: This is okay..and so yeah this is the first chapter..I feel that this chapter was a bit boring but you know it's needed and well the fun begins soon..hope you enjoyed.
