So I have a question, now last time I asked you ran away. You don't plan on running this time, right?" Timothy chuckles, swinging our hands back and forth.

"No." I giggle, shifting my gaze to our surroundings.

I inhale deeply, taking in the sounds of the night. It is absolutely astounding how alive nature is, especially at night.

Timothy nudges me chuckling as he does so.

"Tell me more about Sapphire." He offers a warm smile.

I shrug, coming to an halt.

"There is nothing to tell." I whisper, allowing him to step in front of me.

He takes my free hand and raises both to his lips, pecking every single knuckle. I close my eyes enjoying the feather kisses.

I suppress a moan that was threatening to part my lips. And when the kisses become less frequent, I open my eyes to find his.

"Life is better when you don't face it alone, Autumn." He whispers, his delicate words flowing along the sudden wisp of  air.

I look away, knowing in the back of my mind that he is right.

"Maybe its better to be alone." I mumble.

I feel his gaze shift on me.

"Or maybe safer." He knowingly replies.

It is safer.
