Thank you for all the lovely comments and birthday wishes muah :*
I was quietly packing my bags upstairs in my room and when I say quietly I really do mean quietly. Like pin drop makes you go deaf kind of quiet. You see, there are pro's to being in an all spy family like the fact that we can kick ass and get away with it but there are also con's like never being able to sneak out of the house because your relatives can hear any door squeak from two rooms, a bathroom, and a floor level away.
I finally convinced Eric to let me go to Oahu as long as I promised to call him if anything happened. My brother, however, was a completely different story. No ammount of convincing was getting him to budge and according to Brooke and Amber if our missions didn't start showing any results Interpol would shut down our program all together.
That meant that if I wanted to get any information that would interest our superiors at Interpol then I'd have to go to Oahu with Jacob today. We were only going to be staying for two days so I only packed a carry on bag not needing the whole suit case. Eric agreed to drop me off at Jacob's house so all I had to do was wait for his message and I'd sneak out the window.
Now I know that sounds incredibly tacky and usually I'd just try to sneak out the back door but my brother is in the kitchen and if he sees me leave with a bag he'll ask be suspicious so the window is my only choice.
Five minuted afterwards I recieved a message from Eric saying that he was here. I grabbed my bag and slowly walked towards the window. I slid it open, ready to climb out but accidently opened it too fast causing it to make a loud noise against the wall. Suddenly I heard footsteps. I kicked my bag under the bed just as my brother walked into my room.
"What's wrong?" I asked innocently
"Why did you open the window?" he asked in a curious voice.
"I spilled some nail polish and the room was stinking up so I was trying to open up a window," I explained smoothly, having come up with this excuse just in case something like this happened.
"Alright, just remember to close it later," he reminded me before quickly looking over my room for anything suspicious. I waited a few seconds after he closed the door to make sure I heard his footsteps fading. I reached for my bag and this time I made sure to be more careful as I slid one foot over the window ledge.
I spotted Eric's car and motioned him to come over. When he saw me he gave me an 'are you crazy look' but instead of explaining I just held a finger to my mouth begging him to stay quiet. Once he was directly under my window I tossed my bag at him which he swiftly caught. Then came the hard part.
The house was two levels but thankfully it wasn't that high up, the problem was the walls were really smooth so climbing down would be a bit of a problem and jumping off wasn't really an option. I was almost hald way down when I felt my grip loosening. I started climbing down faster trying to make it to the bottom before I lost my grip all together. Once I was close enough to the ground I jumped off and landed as silently as I could next to Eric.
"What the hell are you-"
"Shut up and let's go," I whisper shouted, cutting him off. He rolled his eyes and headed to his car with me quickly following behind him. I finally relaxed once we were out of my neighborhood.
"Ok do you want to tell me why you just climbed out of your bedroom window instead of exiting through a door like a normal person?" Eric finally asked.
"Well considering that you're my boyfriend you should know I'm not normal by now and as for why I snuck out my window well my brother doesn't exaclty know I'm going to Oahu,"
