Chapter 011.

Austin POV
My weekend was very um different to say the least. Corie flipped the script on me and I had to remind her who big Daddy is. That's my baby though. After all my procrastination I finally got out the bed and prepared myself for my meeting with a new potential overseer.
I got dressed in my Burberry slim fit suit put on my matching oxfords and headed out the door. We were meeting at a little spot down the street from the mall, which was perfect because I planned on picking up my girl from work. I don't know I just craved her and I know I'm being selfish but I wanted her all day every day. Oh well that's how it should be anyway.
I pulled to the parking lot and quickly got myself together for this meeting. When it comes to business I stay on my game, I need to keep my checks coming. Plus I got responsibilities! After I checked myself in the mirror I grabbed my briefcase and made my way in the shop. I took a corner seat just so I could have a view of the entire place. I needed to be alert at all times. I saw Manny walk in and I waved him over.

Manny: Austin my man how has it been going?

Austin: Can't complain ma, nice to see you! Ready to talk business?

Many: Si

We closed the deal and it was official. Manny was going to be a silent partner in my business and I couldn't be more excited. First order of business was helping one of my clients put together a big holiday party.

Austin: Yo Manny Im going to be in touch because we have a project coming up for the holidays Ima need your assistance.

Manny: Ok just put it on the calendar my man.

I nodded my head as he walked out. I pulled my laptop out and started to check my emails and get some contracts sent out. I must have been super busy because I looked at my watch and saw it was about 5pm. Damn I gotta get to the mall to get my queen, before she gets mad.
I hopped in my car a sped to the mall. I parked close to the food court and went in. I like to surprise her so I stopped to get her fave "China man". Now I know I'm not crazy but I could have sworn I saw Myra talking to a guy which from the back I couldn't see his face but he looked mad familiar. I brushed it off cause it aint my business, but I know queen would tell me if I needed to know what's up because we not about to be playing my boy.
I walked into the store and stand off to the side because I wanted to just watch and admire for a little bit. Everything about Corie was perfect, and I know we are all flawed but Got Damn she got it and can get it ALL. I waited until she was done with a client and went in from behind.

"Hey beautiful Queen" I whispered in her ear. She turned around with a smirk and just planted one on me. "Damn bae someone is happy to see me?" Corie just put on the most innocent face as if she was caught or something.

Corie: Welllll yeah it's been what 12 hours lol I just miss my boo bear.

Austin: Its cool babe I tend to have the effect on people you know

Corie: *Rolls eyes* Yea ok. I'll be ready just as soon as Myra gets back which should be shortly.

Austin: Oh yea babe , I think I saw her lunching with a random , find out what's up, cause we not about to be playing my mans ...

Corie: Babe really Myra is so into T she would never! Plus she would have said something by now. Trust me it's nothing prolly someone she knows from working in the mall...RELAXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Corie POV
I was so ready to dig into Myra, like sis you gotta send me a warning text sum sheesh. But I think I played it cool, and he believed me ...I think!
I started to head to the back when I heard the bell chime letting me know someone walked through the door, I looked up and it was Myra but she had some dude hot on her trail. I mean sis was all giggles and smiles. I hurried to get her attention before Austin realized and gave her that wtf look! She caught on quickly and told ole dude bye. I pulled her to the back with me with the quickness.

Corie: Yooooooo who the freak is that dude?

Myra: Sisss we WILL Not be talking about that right now, but I will certainly feel you in tonight let's say 9pm girls night in or out up to you????

Corie: Yea iight, I'm out and don't forget man .... Love you and be safe.

I grabbed my keys and grabbed Austin and we headed out. Once we got to his car I suddenly started to smell something that immediately had my mouth watering. I started looking around the car like a crackhead who was looking for their next fix. Austin saw me a starting laughing so hard

Austin: Babe whats up, what you doing?

Corie: You don't smell that?? Where is it coming from I gotta know NEOWWWWW!

Austin: Bae I think your losing your mind.... What is it that you smell?

Corie: Na its in here... what's in this bag....??
I grab the bag but Austin snatches it from me so fast.... I looked at him with the side eye like ninja wtf.
"Austin give me the bag..." He chuckled and placed it in my lap. Yall I swear I could of cried my baby got me China man and let me tell you it was RIP, On sight for that food.
Feeling totally satisfied I let out a belch and glanced at Austin who looked surprised!

"What babe mama was hungry," I leaned in and kissed his cheek as I set back in my chair I felt the itis settling in and before you know it I Dose off.
When I woke up I found myself in Austin's comfy bed ...everything smelled like this man! I leaned back and really started to think about how happy and different things were for me.  But I also started to think about my parents, I missed them terribly , but hey what can I say they don't love me and there is nothing I can do about it. All I can do is pray and give it to the man upstairs.

That's just not a door I willing to open back up emotionally I can't.
I must have been in deep thought because I never heard Austin enter the room or sit next to me for that matter.

It wasn't until I felt him reach over a wipe the single tear from my eyes that I realized I was crying.

Austin: Babe what's the matter? Why are you crying beautiful?
I couldn't look at him all I could muster up was

"I don't want to talk about it, let's just watch a movie ....Please"
