Austin POV

Once I got home I started to clean up and get my house in order, plus I wanted to see if my shorty wanted to come over. Let me text here real quick

My Love: Hey babe you want to have date night? I miss you beautiful

Putting my phone down I went back to cleaning feeling good. Like if nothing else black is beautiful and the world better understand that and quick we will not settle for this treatment.

*Ding*

My Love: Yes babe OMG I was going to ask you to come over and cook and chill...I miss you more papi! 8 good?

Austin: Yes babe I'm cleaning up, I'm going send you money to go to the grocery store. Get whatever ok?

My Love: I don't need money babe I got it

I read her text and ignored her clicking on the apple pay button I sent her $300. Lol knowing her she gonna try and act like she didn't see it.

Clicking on her name I Facetimed her
"Babeeeeeeee don't fight me on this just take the money and get what we need and pocket the rest please".

Fine Austin but I'm going to get you something with YOUR money.

"Baby it's our money say it with me OURRRRR Money lol"

Before I knew it the call ended.
That girl is... So amazing. I thank God for her, it wasn't easy but I'm glad I got her to open up to me and let me love her, love on her, and be her king.

Corie POV
I received a notification from My King that let me know he sent the money.... He is something else I promise.

I gathered my phone charger and MacBook and hit the door. I quickly went to my Food Lion grabbed dinner and snacks. And was gone! I was just too hype to see my lil zaddy (Ratchet moment). It took me about 30 mins to get Austin house. It never fails every time I get there it makes me smile and I get butterflies. It's like a warm fuzzy feeling, lol my damn man!

I quickly shot him a text letting him know I was outside. Not even a minute later I saw him coming down the walkway to grab the bags.

Austin: Hey baby*Kissing my lips*

Corie: Hey lil Zaddy *Wink*

Austin: Lil Zaddy? That's what we on now lol?

Corie: Possibly, come on let's go inside.

When we got in there we decided to cook dinner together and catch up on each other's last two days.

*Kitchen Convo*

Austin: Well babe I went to see my mom, it's just been a lot! Like being quarantined then this new age racism. Man it's been really hard to wrap my mind around it , like I'm praying, staying faithful and grounded in being the man my mom raised me to be but damn I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm mad....

Corie: Yea na I understand completely baby! Our  race our whole existence scares people and its like why? But I have faith that change is going to come, we just have to work on that change and stand our ground as a community and as race! But Im praying every day for coverage and protection. Honestly remembering that not everyone is bad and there are still good people out there that don't look like me!

Austin: Well tbh I was mad ...but seeing you washed that right away beautiful!

Corie: Oh yea?? You better quit it for you start something you not tryna finish! Lol

Austin: *Raises eyebrow* Girl I know you lying! The way you be running lol

Corie: Lol you got jokes huh....anyways I was thinking Steak, potatoes and broccoli?
