I didn't plan on posting this one since i wrote it a few weeks ago, but i didn't want to delete it so here.
(Richie and Eds are seniors in high school in this one)

~Richie's POV~

"God damn it," I whispered under my breath as I walked to the driveway where my car was parked. My short-sleeved button up kept coming untucked and would wrinkle when it left the grasp of my pants.

I tucked my shirt into my skinny jeans one last time as I unlocked my car. I fumbled with my keys while I tucked in my shirt. I opened the door to my sweet-ass car and jumped in.

The car was an early graduation present. I got into a good college and Eds was coming with me. Things were going the right way for me for once.

I rolled the top down and checked my hair in the mirror. It looked a bit flat so I ran my hands through it, but that didn't make it look any better. If anything, stroking my hair with my hands made it look greasy. I gave up and decided to let the wind make it fluffy.

I only had to drive for a few minutes to Eddie's house since he lived a few streets over from me.

I parked about two houses down since Sonia didn't need to know that I was picking her son up for a date.

I looked at my hair one last time before I stepped out of my car. The wind had done a perfect job giving my hair the volume it needed. It even defined my curls some more.

I swiftly closed the door to my car and started to walk down the sidewalk to Eddie's house.

When I arrived at Eddie's driveway, I became stuck.
Fuck.
I knew Sonia was home, but I didn't even think about how I was going to pick up Eds.

I can't exactly climb through the chimney. So I did the next best thing.

I grabbed some gravel from the driveway and walked to the side of the house where my Spaghetti's window was.

I tossed a few pebbles at his window before he opened it to see his helpless boyfriend standing on the ground with more pebbles in his hand.

"What are you doing, asshole?" Eddie whisper-yelled.
"Tryna get your attention, Eds," I said back from the ground below.

"You have a phone for a reason! I'm still getting dressed, I'll be down in a sec."

An idea came to my head. I ran back to the front of the house and down where my car was parked. I unlocked the door and sat in the front seat. I picked up the phone that was attatched to a cord in my car. Car phones were the coolest.

I yanked the phone, trying to break the cord. It took a few to many pulls before I finally detatched it from my car. It was going to take a few lawn-mowings for me to pay to get this fixed but I don't really care.

For another time, I ran to Eddie's window and became prepared to throw.

I chucked the phone at the open window, hoping to make it inside. Instead, it hit the glass pane above it.

I winced as the brick-shaped phone fell to the ground and into the bushes. I ram to pick it up. It looked as though it had smashed when it hit the ground.

While I was picking myself up and out of the bushes, Eddie stuck his head out of the window.

"Did you just throw your phone? Just call me next time, jackass!"
