Mary's POV
I was lying on the bed as Dean was filling a gun with silver bullets. "This lawyer guy the first heart-free corpse in town?" Kara asked sitting next to Dean. Ricky came out of the bathroom with wet hair since he took a shower. "First man. Over the past year, several women have gone missing. Dead bodies all washed up later in the bay, too deteriorated to draw firm conclusions." Ricky says since he went to investigate with Sam. "But no hearts?" Dean asked them. "No hearts. They were all hookers working Hunter's Point. Now, cops are trying to keep things under wrap, but they're looking for a serial killer." Sam said. "And the lunar cycle?" I asked sitting up, if anything sounds like a werewolf. "Mm-hmm. Yeah, month after month, all the murders happen in the week leading up to the full moon." Ricky said sitting next to me. "Which is this week, right?" Kara asked probably already knowing. "Hence the lawyer." Sam said. "Awesome." Dean said. "Dean, could you be a bigger geek about this?" I asked him. "I'm sorry, Sis, but what about "a human by day, a freak animal killing machine by moonlight" don't you understand? I mean, werewolves are badass. We haven't seen one since we were kids." Dean said giddy. "Yeah and it almost killed me." Kara said rolling her eyes. "Okay, Sparky. And you know what? After we kill it, we can go to Disneyland." Sam said. "Really?" Ricky asked excited. "No." Sam said to Ricky. "You know what the best part about it is? We already know how to bring these suckers down. One of these bad boys right to the heart. So, what's our next move?" Dean asked holding up a silver bullet and putting them in a gun. "Talk to the girl who found the body." Ricky said. We got to the girls house and she let us in. "I don't understand. I already gave my statement." She said. "Right, well, we just need to verify a few things." Sam said. We saw a guy sitting on the couch. "This is my neighbor, Glen. Glen, this is Detective..." The lady said not knowing our names. "Landis. Detective Dante, Detective Hunt, Detective Young and his little sister who is job shadowing." Dean said. "Well, I guess I'll leave you to it." Glen said getting up. "Okay. Thanks for the casserole." The girl said. "Oh, how thoughtful." Dean said. "Just call if you need anything. Bye Madison." Glen said and left, okay so her name is Madison. "He's sweet. He came over to check on me. Have – have a seat." Madison said gesturing to the table. We sat down. "You must be pretty shaken up. You were Nate Mulligan's assistant, right?" Sam asked. "For two years, yeah." Madison said. "So, you knew all about him?" Kara asked "Probably knew more about him than he did. Nate was... he was nice." Madison said. "I feel like a but is coming." Ricky said. "Nothing, really. I – He had a few scotches in him, and he'd started hitting on anyone in a five-mile radius. You know the type." Madison said. "Yeah. We do, actually." I said giving Dean a look. "Did, uh, did he have any enemies?" Dean asked ignoring my look. "What do you mean? It sure looked like an animal attack." Madison said. "No, yeah, we're just covering all the bases. Anyone that might have had a beef with him – a former client, an ex?" Kara asked. I noticed Madison was thinking of something. "What?" I asked. "Well, this is embarrassing, but my ex-boyfriend, Kurt." Madison said. "Kurt have a last name?" Ricky asked her. "Mueller. After we broke up, he went kind of nuts. He's... well, he's kind of been stalking me. He got it in his head that something was going on between Nate and I. He showed up at my office." Madison explained. "What happened?" Sam asked leaning toward. "Kurt got into it with Nate, threw a punch before security grabbed him. I was lucky to keep my job." Madison said. "When was the last time you saw Kurt?" Dean asked. "A few nights ago. Actually, the night Nate died. We were all grabbing drinks at this bar, and Kurt showed up." Madison said. "And?" Kara asked. "Nothing. It was ... like he was watching me. Then he was gone. To tell you the truth... he scares me." Madison said. "We'll check it out." Ricky said smiling she smiled back. We were now out on the outside of the apartment. "So, what do you think?" I asked them. "Stalker ex-boyfriend? He hates the boss. And he was there that night." Sam said. "Think he's our dog-faced boy?" Dean asked. "Well, it's a theory." Ricky said. "We've had worse." Kara said. "Yeah." Sam said. "What do you say we pay Kurt a visit?" I asked they nodded. We got to his apartment and I picked the lock and we got in looking around. "Anything?" Sam and I asked. "No, nothing but leftovers and a six-pack." Dean said closing the fridge. "Check the freezer. Maybe there's some human hearts behind the Haagen-Dazs or something." Ricky said, probably joking. "Guys come here." Kara said. We walked and saw claw marks on the concrete. We heard gunshots. We ran out and saw a female police officer body mauled. "I'll call 911." Sam said getting out his phone. "I'd say Kurt's looking more and more like our Cujo." Dean said. "Dean, if he's out here, we better check on Madison." Sam said. "Mae, Ricky, and I will go back to the motel." Kara said. They nodded we got back to the motel and I sat on the bed. "Hey Kara what happened to Sam's last girlfriend?" Ricky asked us. "Jessica?" I asked. "That was her name?" Ricky asked we nodded. "Okay well what happened to her?" Ricky asked. "She was cut up on the ceiling and burst into flames." Kara said. "Yikes like those mom's Sam had Ash look at?" Ricky asked. "Yep." I said. "Grumpy cat is toxic." Ricky said. "Why?" I asked. "Well his girlfriend burst into flames on a ceiling which means Madison could be in danger." Ricky said. "I have to go help Dean." Kara said looking at her phone she got up got rope and tied me to a heater. I sighed as she left. "They have to tie you up?" Ricky asked getting out a poster board. "Yep." I said. "Okay." Ricky said. Soon I was able to chew out of the ropes. I woke Ricky up. "What did you chew your way out?" He asked. "Yep." I said. "Okay well let's have some fun." Ricky said and we left the motel and got outside of Madison's window and held up the sign, Grumpy cat is Toxic. We saw Madison look out the window and we smiled she turned saying something and Sam looked out the window closed the curtains and Ricky looked at his phone. "He is wondering why I'm not watching you." Ricky said. "But you are." I said. "He apparently thinks not." Ricky did showing me his phone. I looked at the texts.
Sam:You are supposed to babysit Mae
Ricky:I am
Ricky:She also chewed through the ropes Kara tied her in
Sam: oh no, and what the sign for?
Ricky: I'm telling the truth to Madison.
Sam:You two are jerks.
I decided to text back as Ricky.
Ricky:Damn right asshat.
I turned off the phone. "Let's head back." Ricky said I nodded and we went back to the motel room and went to bed. We woke up and Dean texted me that Madison was the werewolf and to get over there. We got there and saw Madison tied to a chair. "Is some form of foreplay?" Ricky asked. "What do you mean?" Madison asked Ricky. "Well this is probably kinky for Grumpy cat." Ricky said smirking. I laughed. "Okay so Mary is going to try and lure the werewolf out and Ricky is gonna kill it." Sam said untying Madison. "So I'm bait?" I asked. "Yes." Kara said. I rolled my my eyes. We waited until late afternoon and left. I was walking down the street and heard a growl. "Anybody there?" I asked fake scared and a werewolf jumped me and started attacking me and I got hits in and Ricky shot the dude twice. "Huh what's going on?" The guy asked. I took Ricky's gun and shot the dude. My phone rang. "Hello?" I asked. "Did you get the werewolf?" Sam asked. "Yeah." I said. "Okay well get back here." Sam said. We got back the sun was setting when we got back. "We're staying here to see if Madison shifts." Kara said. We were in Madison's apartment I was sleeping on the couch with Ricky. We woke up to cheering. "It worked Madison won't shift." Sam said. "Great can we go?" I asked. "Sure Sammy still has stuff to take care of." Dean said. "Carry me?" I asked using Puppy dog eyes. He laughed picking me up bridal style. I put my head on his shoulder it looked like a father carrying his child. We got to the motel and I passed out on the couch. I woke up to Sam on speaker. "She – she turned." Sam said. "Grumpy cat don't you know your toxic." Ricky said. "Shut up Ricky." Kara said. "What?" I asked. "I couldn't grab her in time." Sam said. "We'll find her, Sammy." Dean said. We left and got Sam. "I already called Bobby. He doesn't know anything. Except he knew severing the bloodline wouldn't work. That's everyone. They all say it's impossible to reverse it." Sam said getting in the car. "How come she didn't turn when we were with her?" Kara and I asked together. "So, what, you put her to bed and then she wolfed out?" Dean asked. "Maybe she's gotta be asleep to turn." Sam said. "Does she remember anything?" Ricky asked Kara shook her head no. "So she's like the hulk?" I asked and Dean nodded. "What the hell does it matter. Look, we've gotta find some way to help her, some legend we missed or something." Sam said. "If there was, don't you think someone we know would've known it?" Dean asked. "Well, then we have to look harder! Until we find something." Sam said. "Sammy, I don't think we've got a choice here anymore." I said to him. "What?" Sam asked. "Sam she's a sweet girl but a part of her is evil." Ricky said. "I agree with Ricky." Dean said. "Yeah, that's what they say about me, Dean! So me you won't kill, but her you're just gonna blow away?" Sam said. We soon heard Sam's phone ring he answered it. "Madison, where are you?" Sam asked after awhile. "Well, do you see any street signs?" Sam asked. "All right, hold on, Maddie. We're coming to get you, just stay where you are." Sam said and hung up. "Maddie?" I asked. "Can it." Sam said. I nodded. We picked up Madison and got back to her apartment and we were all standing around. "I don't remember anything. I probably killed someone last night. Didn't I?" Madison said. "There's no way to know yet." I said. "Is there something else we can try to make it go away?" Madison asked. "We'll find something. I mean, there's gotta be some answer, somewhere." Sam said. "That's not entirely true. Madison, you deserve to know. We've scoured every source. There's just no cure." Ricky said. "Is – is he right?" Madison asked Sam. Sam turned away from her. "Well, we could lock you up at night, but ... you bust out, and some night you will, someone else dies." Kara said. "We're sorry, we really are." I said to her. "So, I guess that's all there is to it, then." Madison said. "Stop it. Don't talk like that." Sam said. "Sam, I don't wanna hurt anyone else. I don't wanna hurt you." Madison said grabbing the gun and pointing it to her head. "Mae, Ricky get out of here." Kara said. Ricky and I stood outside of the apartment and we soon heard a gun shot ring out. They came out. "We are sorry Sam." We said. "Let's just go." Sam said. "He'll be fine." Dean said to us. "Okay." Ricky and I said. We got in the impala and Dean drove odd and I was hoping things got better from here on out.A\NNew chapter if all goes well this book will be done before or on Christmas meaning the third book and here's the cover for it.
