Mary's POV
I swear if another person asks Ricky and I if we're actors they're getting punched off this damn trolley. "First opened in 1927, the lot has been in continuous operation for eight decades. Now, to the right, here is Stars Hollow. It's the setting for the television series, Gilmore Girls. And if we're lucky, we might even catch one of the show's stars." The tour guide said we looked at an uncomfortable Sam and tried not laughing. We got off the trolley with Sam. "Kara, Dean come on." I said. They got off the trolley after Kara dragged Dean. "Come on." Sam said as we started walking straight forward. "Guys, check it out, it's Matt Damon!" Dean said excited. "Where?" Ricky asked excited. "Over there." Dean pointed. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's not Matt Damon." Sam and Kara said together. "No, it is." Dean said. "Well, Matt Damon just picked up a broom and started sweeping." I said looking at my siblings and friends. "Yeah, well, he's probably researching a role or something." Dean said. "Ahhh, I don't think so." Ricky said. "Hey, this way, uh, I think Stage 9 is over here." Sam said pointing. "Come on, man, let's keep going this way." Dean said. "No, come on, we've gotta work." Kara said. "Dude, you wanted to come to LA." Ricky reminded Dean. "Yeah, for a vacation. I mean, swimming pools and movie stars! Not to work." Dean said, is my brother serious it's practically Canada weather right now. "This seem like swimming pool weather to you, Dean? I mean, it's practically Canadian." I said stating my thoughts out loud. "Yeah. I just figured that, you know, after everything that happened with ... Madison, Sammy could use a little R-and-R, that's all." Dean said looking at Sam. "Well, maybe I wanna work, Dean. Maybe it keeps my mind off things." Sam said giving Dean a look saying don't question me. "Okay, okay, all right. So, this crew guy - what did he, he died on set?" Dean said. "Yeah, uh, rumors spreading like wildfire online. They're saying the set's haunted." Kara said. "Like "Poltergeist"?" Dean asked. "Could be a poltergeist." I said. "No, no, no. Like, the movie "Poltergeist"." Dean said. Sam and I gave Dean a confused look Ricky looked shocked and Kara looked done with Dean and Ricky. "You two know nothing of your cultural heritage, do you? It was rumored that the set of "Poltergeist" was cursed. That they used real human bones as, uh, as props. And, like, at least three of the actors died in it." Ricky said excited. "This makes you happy?" I asked my best friend. "Yes." Ricky stated wrapping his arm around my shoulder. "Hey can Mae and I explore?" Ricky asked my brothers. "Sure just don't get arrested." Sam said. We walked off. "That is Grumpy cat's one rule don't get arrested." Ricky said. "Yep along with Dean's." I said. "OMG are you two the actors Vivian Sky and Daniel Raspberry?" One person asked. "Nope." We said. "Really since that looks like a wig." Another said and pulled my hair. "Ow no I'm a natural blonde." I said and Ricky and I walked away. "I hate weirdos." Ricky said. "Coming from the guy who is mentally a four year old." I said to him. "Not my fault." He said. I rolled my eyes laughing. We were walking and bumped into a security guard. "Badges?" He asked. "Don't have any sorry." Ricky said. "Come on then." The security guard dragged us out and we were now sitting on the sidewalk of Warner Bro's studio. Sam, Dean, and Kara walked out when it was dark. "You two go kicked out?" Kara asked. "Hey Sammy said just not to get arrested not that getting kicked out was out of the option." I said. "Its true." Ricky said. We left and got to a guys house. "Are really questioning this man?" I asked them. "Yep." Sam and Dean responded at the same time. They knocked and a man opens it. "Gerard St. James?" Kara asked. "Yes." Gerard said. "You're still alive. And you're not Frank Jaffey." Sam said. "Uh, no?" Gerard said like a question. "You were Desert Soldier Number Four in Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn?" Dean asked. "That's why you reminded me of someone." Ricky said. "I was." Gerard said. "I knew I recognized you. I am a huge fan. Heh heh. I mean, your turn as a tractor crash victim in Critters 3." Dean said. "Critters 3!" Ricky yelled happy. "Wow. Yeah. Well, please, come in." Gerard said and we walked in and he handed me and Ricky a water and the others tea. "Yeah, it was the producers. They brought me up for the day to play Frank." Gerard said as we all sat down. "Just to fake your death?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "Well, rumors of a haunted film set, free publicity, especially when you're making a horror movie. I mean, uh, it's already all over the Internet." Gerard said smiling. "Yeah. We know." Sam said. "These days, it's all about new media, building buzz. They say I'm the new "lonelygirl"." Gerard said. "Who?" Dean asked. "And the ghost Tara saw?" Kara asked Gerard. "Projected on a screen of diffusion." Gerard explained. "Isn't that kind of cruel? Messing with their heads like that?" Ricky and I asked. "Hey, I just play the part. I don't write the script. Speaking of, I'm playing Willy in a, in a dinner theater production of Salesman at Costa Mesa, all next month. You get a free pepper steak with the coupon." Gerard said handing Dean a flyer. "Now, wait a second. If you're, if you're seen in public, won't that ruin the hoax?" Dean asked. "Oh, please. Frank and Willy? Totally different characters." Gerard said. "You know what? Thanks very much, Mr. St. James. It was just nagging at us, you know? But we're – we're very glad ... you know, you're alive and well." Sam and Kara said. "Absolutely. Hey, I wanted to ask you... what was it like working with Richard Moll?" Ricky asked we gave him a confused look except for Dean. "Metalstorm. He was Hurok, King of the Cyclops people." Dean said. "Let's go." I said grabbing my eldest brother and best friend by the collars and dragged them out of the house. Ricky and I were forced not to go to where Dean, Sam, and Kara are undercover at, since we got kicked out of Warner Bro's. "So want to have some fun there is a paintball place nearby." Ricky said. "Let's go." I said. We got there and Ricky paid and we got on a team with others Ricky's age. "Shouldn't your baby sister be at school?" A guy asked. "Nah she's home schooled and your hot." Ricky said to the guy am grinning. "Let's kick some ass." A girl said. "Yes." I said smiling at her. She and I hid behind a barrier. "I'm Jane." She said. "Mary." I said shaking her hand. I shot up and shot two people right in the chest and hid behind the barrier again. "Damn nice aim." Another girl said. "I know how to shoot a gun." I said. "Nice." Jane said. We won and we all high fived. "Hey Mary is it okay if I leave you for awhile?" Ricky asked. "Sure." I said. Jane, the others, and I all got pizza and were playing the arcade part me winning at air hockey. "Damn Mary how old are you?" Olivia, one of the girls, asked. "I have three older brothers and one older sister." I said. "Damn did your parents have a lot of kids?" Kendra, another girl, asked. "No I have two biological older brothers, Ricky is like an older brother to me, and the sister is dating my eldest brother so she's like my sister." I said. "Damn." They said. I nodded. I saw my phone ring I saw it was Sam. "Yeah Sammy?" I asked. "Can you and Ricky get to set 9?" Sam asked. "Sammy, Ricky and I are banned from the studio remember?" I asked. "Just sneak in here." Sam said. I hung up. "Have to leave sorry." I said. "It's fine." Kendra said. I grabbed my backpack and left I couldn't get a hold of Ricky. I put on sunglasses and a baseball cap putting my hair up in it and got in the set easily and found Sam, Dean, and Kara. "EVP." Sam said. "What EVP?" I asked. "Where's Ricky?" Kara asked. "Probably banging a dude back at the motel." I said. "Yah is for that image Mae." Sam said disgusted. "No problem now what EVP?" I asked. "Here." Dean said handing me headphones. It replayed definitely EVP. "Definitely EVP. "From the night of Brad's stage dive. All of a sudden, I'm getting electromagnetic readings up the wazoo. For some reason, it's a legit haunting now." Dean said. "Well, who's the ghost, Dean? What's it want?" Sam asked. "I don't know. I think we should take a look at Brad's death scene." Dean said. I saw Ricky get in his hair messed up and his zipper down. "Get some dignity Ricky." Kara said. Ricky pulled up his zipper and flattened his hair. "Turns out the guy who I had sex with worked here and I got his pass." Ricky said. "Okay." We all said and we got to a trailer and got in. I sat on the couch and Dean got a DVD and put it in the DVD player. "Hey, where'd you get this DVD?" I asked. "They're called dailies. I got it from Cindy. She's kind of got this on-and-off thing going with Drew. He dubbed me an extra copy." Dean said. We nodded we watched everything including the dudes death. "All right, here's where the guy fell through the roof." Dean said. "Right." Ricky said. "All right, here we go." I said and we watched it. "They must have super-hearing." The guy said on the tv. Suddenly the guy falls through the ceiling hanging by a noose. "Hey, wait, go back, go back." Kara said. Dean rewinded it. "Right after. Right aft- yeah right. Wait. There." Sam said. We saw a different set and a ghost woman. "It's like "Three Men and a Baby" all over again. Selleck, Danson, and Guttenberg. And... I don't know who played the baby." Ricky said. "You are confusing me a lot on this hunt." I said. "I know." Ricky smiled. "
"What's your point Ricky?" Sam asked my friend. "There's a scene in the movie where people say that the, the camera caught a ghost on film. Apparently, in the background of one of the scenes, there was this boy that nobody remembers from set. Spirit photography." Ricky said. "I've seen her before." Sam said. "The hair kinda reminds me of 30s maybe." I said. Kara nodded. We were now sitting at a table Dean apparently acted like an actual P. A. "Here. Check this out." Sam said showing us a article. "Yeah, go for Ozzy. (...) No, I don't have a 20 on Tara, I think she's 10-100. (...) Okay, copy that." Dean said into the headset. "I'm sorry, what were you saying?" Dean asked Sam. I rolled my eyes with Kara. "Elise Drummond – starlet back in the thirties. Had an affair with a studio exec. He uses her up, fires her, leaves her destitute, so Elise hangs herself from Stage 9's rafters, right into a scene they're shooting." Kara said reading the article. "Hey I was right about the time period." I cheered. "Just like our man, Brad. So, what, she's got it in for the studio brass?" Dean asked. "Possibly. I mean, it's a motive. And Brad's death matches hers exactly." Sam said shrugging. "We're digging tonight, aren't we?" Ricky asked. "Most likely." I said. We were now in a graveyard at night with our shovels. "Which way?" Sam asked Dean. "I feel like you and I are a seven dwarf." Ricky said to everyone since we had our shovels over my shoulders like in Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, when the dwarfs had the picks over there shoulders. "Mae's short enough." Sam commented. "You really want to provoke the Girl with a shovel?" I asked. Sam shook his head no. "Anyways, which way Dean?" Kara asked. "Uh... over here." Dean pointed. We were walking. "Hey, we've gotta go check out Johnny Ramone's grave when we're done here." Ricky asked Dean who nodded excited. "You wanna dig him up, too?" Sam and I asked wearing amused looked. "Bite your tongue, heathens!" Dean and Ricky yelled in unison. "You know, what I don't get is why now? I mean, after seventy-five years, Elise Drummond suddenly goes homicidal, you know? Why this movie?" Kara said turning to us. "Well, maybe she's mad they're making a scary ghost flick." Dean said. "Come on, is it really that scary?" I asked continued walking. "Found it." Ricky said after awhile. We dug and got to her body we salted and burned her. We left to go get some rest. We got to set the next day and the police were examining another dead person. "Run-in with a giant fan. Same thing happened to an electrician back in '66, a guy named Billy Beard." Sam said coming back with the information. "What the hell, dude?" Ricky asked. "I don't know. Doesn't seem like Elise this time, either. It's not her M.O." Kara said. "No, we already torched her. So, what, are we dealing with another ghost?" I asked them. "Maybe." Sam said. "Yeah, but these things don't usually tag-team." Dean said. "There's a forst for everything. "Everybody! Gather around, okay! I've got an announcement to make. Hold that for me. Everyone! Huddle in! In light of Jay's accident last night, and in cooperation with the authorities, we're shutting down production for a few days. I know, I know. Look, I'm not gonna lie to you. We've had a few setbacks this week. But we all know what Jay and Brad wanted more than anything. And that was to see Hell Hazers 2: The Reckoning on screens all across America! Now, we owe it to them to go on, and to pull together and make this damn movie, huh? But – but but but not today. Go home. Someone will call you." The director said we all nodded. Sam and I were watching the horrible movie. "This is the most crappiest thing I've ever seen." I said. "I know." Sam said. I fell asleep since this was so boring. I was rudely woken up by Dean. "What?" I groaned. "We need to talk to the writer come on." Dean said I held out my arms to be carried. Sam came over and picked me up. "Soon you'll be 12. Aren't you getting too old for this?" Sam asked. "Nope." I said. Sam laughed hugged me tightly. We got the writers office and I was standing close to Sam, for some odd reason I felt like something bad was going to happen to him and Kara soon. The guy was on the phone with someone. "No, dude, we're down for a few days - force majeure. (...) Yeah. It's cool, though. Gives me time to pitch that time-travel thing. (...) Yeah. All right, well look, get back to me on this, all right? Seriously. (...) No, I'm serious. (...) Dude, are you serious? 'Cause I'm serious. All right. Cool." The guy said hanging up and looked at us. "Guys, we're all shut down. What are you still doing here?" He asked us. "Yeah, um, whez, is ... sorry, man. We– we– we couldn't help ourselves. We just had to tell you that we read the script." I said. "And?" He asked. "Yeah. It's – uh – it's awesome." Sam lied. "Awesome." Kara and Dean said together. "Really awesome." Ricky lied. "I know, it's pretty rockin', right? I'm glad you guys liked it." The guy said. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I really liked, uh, all the attention to detail." I said. "Right on, that's my thing. I mean, you know, color me guilty, but that is me. I'm, I'm, I'm a total detail buff." The guy said to me. "No, I can tell. I mean, the way you worked in all those, all those Enochian summoning rituals and all the authentic language." Sam said, so they are summoning these things. "What, you mean that Latin crap? No, man, that's Walter. Walter Dixon, the original writer. You like that garbage?" The guy said. "Wait, "Walter the P.A." Walter?" Kara asked. "No, he's not a P.A. He's got a clause in his contract that allows him to come on set." The guy said I saw his name plaque said Marty. "But he wrote the invocations?" Ricky asked. "He wrote a whack-job screenplay. There's no pace, there's no love interest, it's all wackadoo exposition. I had to cut, like, ninety percent of it to make it readable, the other ten percent to make it good." Marty said. We laughed. "Can we please have that script?" Sam asked we got three copies I was reading with Sam, it was way better then the version they are doing. "Should've kept Walter's original script. It's actually pretty good." Dean said. "Yeah. And it reads like a how-to manual of conjuration, like a textbook on how to summon ghosts and get them to do whatever you want." Sam said. "Yeah, like kill people." Ricky said closing his script. "Yep. So, let's say somewhere down the line, Walter learned some pretty black magic." I said. "Yeah. And let's say he's pissed at these people for wrecking his movie." Dean said. "It's worth checking out." Kara said we got back to stage 9 and Marty was about to get sucked in a huge fan. I shot the ghost with Dean while Sam and Kara turned off the fan and Ricky helped Marty up. "You guys are some hell of P.As." Mary said. "We know." Ricky said. "What are you doing?" Walter asked. "I could ask you the same thing, Walter." Sam said. Walter ran. "I'll go after him." I said chasing him down with Kara the guys were keeping Walter safe. We chased Walter up to the roof. "Walter you don't have to do this." Kara and I said. "You don't know what it's like to do work and for it to get crapped on." Walter said. "Walter must just calm down." I said. "No, if I can't have them no one can." Walter threw the necklace down and broke it. "Oh your dead man." Kara said. "Why?" Walter asked. The guys and Marty ran up. "You set them free and they're pissed." Ricky said, suddenly Walter was thrown back and started bleeding. Marty held up the camera phone and we saw the ghosts murdering Walter. "You know if you add what you probably experienced tonight it would make a great movie." I said to Marty. "You are right." He said. We were now watching the new movie being filmed. "Way better." I said. "Yep." They said. We decided to leave and we were walking were a sunset backdrop was it was moved as we got closer. "Man I love this town." Dean said. We all nodded at him.
