Even though it had been months since graduation, and that Corbyn was the one who had told Daniel to leave him alone, and no matter how hard Corbyn told himself to not think about Daniel, he always failed. Daniel always found his way back to Corbyn's mind. And when Corbyn saw that Daniel was on TV, doing some sort of interview, he couldn't get himself to skip it, even though he wanted to.

"sooo daniel, you supposedly called off your marriage to a french princess last minute, can we ask why?" the interviewer asked daniel, who was more nervous than normal. It had been quite a long time since the last time he had done anything live, mostly because Daniel's dad didn't want him to, Daniel had a pretty hefty record of speaking his mind, and well sometimes Daniel's father didn't really appreciate that part of him.

"uh, of course, I guess. so the thing is, I believe in the fact that you shouldn't marry someone you don't love. and hell, a part of me always knew from the start, that there was no way I was ever gonna love her. Even though she's one of the most caring, selfless, and loving people that I've ever." daniel answered sincerely.

"but if she's so fantastic, how come you'll never be able to love her?" the guy asked, much to Daniel's dismay.

"because my heart will always belong to someone else, no matter what I do. It'll always be him. always." daniel answered without realizing that he technically just came out to the whole world, and when he realized his heart immediately started pumping even faster than it already was.

"him?" the interviewer asked in surprise.

"yeah, I guess I don't really believe in the fact that love has a gender." daniel said quietly with a small smile on his lips as he thought of Corbyn.

"that's great Daniel, we're proud of you. would you maybe like to talk about the person who has stolen the prince's heart? no pressure, you don't have to mention any names."

"I could talk about him all day, so like stop me if it gets too much," daniel said with a laugh, before starting.

"he's truly amazing, it's like he lights up every room as soon as he enters. He's so smart, and he knows literally everything about space. god, I could spend every minute of every day just listening to him talking about space. I love the way his whole face lights up with joy every time someone even as much as mentions space. and oh my god, don't even get me started in his smile, it's so bright, and it's just ugh. I love the way he used to blush every time I complimented him, all the way to his ears. I miss him" daniel said as he felt his eyes tear up. Even Corbyn's eyes teared up as he heard the pain in Daniel's voice.

"He seems to like you back, why aren't you together?" the interviewer asked quietly, afraid to overstep any boundaries.

"i messed up. you all remember the whole high school thing right? well, it was there I met him. him and his- my friends didn't take it very well, you know the whole fake identity thing, and now none of them talk to me. I honestly miss all of them."

"oh, I'm sorry daniel. maybe your special someone is watching right now, so is there anything you want to say to him before we finish up, and let you go?" daniel nodded, and turned his face so he was looking straight at the camera, with his teary eyes.

"corbs, if you're watching this, which I doubt you are. You probably turned the TV off as soon as you saw my face." Daniel said with a light chuckle, before continuing. "Please come back to me one day, I'll be waiting for you. My heart will always belong to you, no matter what anyone says, and no matter what happens. just know that I'm yours, I was yours back then, I'm yours now, and I'll still be yours in 50 years." and as daniel finished up the screen went black, before the new program appeared.

Corbyn didn't move a muscle, he just kept on staring straight at his TV. he didn't even move as he heard his phone starting to go crazy with messages. probably from his friends, family and the kids that used to go to his school. and as Corbyn kept on staring ahead of him, he felt the wall that he had build start to crumble around him, just as the anger that he had felt towards Daniel. Because no matter what Corbyn had said those months ago, it wasn't true. Corbyn's heart would indeed always belong to Daniel, no matter if he wanted it to, or not.
