When Nara got back to her room, Angie and Gabi were laying side by side on Angie's single bed. There was a half-eaten bowl of popcorn on the bedside table and they had switched the tops of their pajamas, but Nara had not noticed. She lied on her own bed and stared at the ceiling silently for some moments, ignoring her friends' questions about the date. Gabi finally mentioned how Nara had previously said the details of the date woldn't be discussed and when Angie agreed to go back to their the L World Marathon, Nara finally sat down and finally faced the girls.
-The date was awesome. I've just come back from a date with Kim Namjoon.
Angie immediately widened her eyes and screamed, but Gabi needed Angie to calm down and explain why they were so excited. When she finally realized who Kim Namjoon was, Gabi also screamed. Nara kept the same blank face and then Angie got out of her bed to sit next to her friend.
-I know you said you didn't want to talk but...
-I need to tell you everything, girls!
The girls gathered around Nara to hear about her date with the leader of the most famous boygroup of the world, one of the richest people in Korea and a hot piece of a man.
-Oh my, the guy from the café was Namjoon. I would freak out if it was me.
-Off course you would – Gabi laughed at the idea of Angie meeting anyone famous. – But what about you, Nara?
-Did you manage to treat him like a normal guy?
-What did you do, Nara? Fala logo!
The girls were too excited to know more about her date and Nara was excited to talk but she needed to organize her ideas. Would she be that excited had the date been with another guy? Probably yes, and that's why she was most amazed. She went to Seoul without any intentions of liking him. She was just meeting him, but sooner than she predicted, her heart was touched. Although some facts would have been different, that feeling would be the same, even if he hadn't been who he was.
-So, girls, it went on as normal dinner... as far as I could pretend it was absolutely normal to have an idol, the one I love most, seating across the table.
-Oh my, Nara! – Angie brought her hands to her heart – This already sounds like a romantic story, don't stop!

A server came by and handed us the menus. There was still an atmosphere of embarrassment around us, so we both focused our attentions on the menu for time enough to feel at ease again. The dishes were described in English as well and as he kindly indicated, there was a green leaf sign over the ones without animal ingredients. At first, I didn't look at him as he talked. Keeping eye contact without awkwardness was hard at first but then we managed to keep it for longer and longer. Both of us tried looking at each other shyly, but once we realized our eyes were on each other's we didn't look away anymore.
-I'm ready to order! – I announced, a bit anxiously, but still trying not to look away from him.
As our orders were taken, he watched me attentively and as we finished, he looked quite impressed with my evolution in that language.
-You don't need my help anymore, do you?
-I learn languages fast but I'm not totally independent yet. This menu is also quite easy to choose from because you thought about me. There are so many options for me. Thank you!
We shared a bright, confident grin and then I gazed deeply at Namjoon's face, still a little uncomfortable but also amazed. My brain was still calculating what the chances for that situation to happen were. I took my glasses off for a while, pretending to be cleaning them when in fact, I really was just checking how bad my sight was. I remembered his blurred face on the day we met. How could I not recognize my mobile phone's lockscreen when it was right in front of me, in flesh? As I put my glasses on again, it was even harder to believe he was in front of me... on a date and... oh, my! Suddenly, a new memory from the first time we met surfaced: He knew he was one of the reasons why I had decided to come to Korea! He inspected my actions, or lack thereof, curiously.
