When Dohee arrived home that night, she walked up to her room and fell face fist onto her bed. How could this happen? She managed to finally get Minhee's number, and he doesn't even know who she is.
She rolled over onto her back. She pulled her phone out and turned it on, looking at the message Minhee had sent. What is she supposed to say? What is she going to do? What if he's not happy when he finds out who she actually is? She messaged back.
Hi Minhee.
She then put her phone on her desk, and fell asleep. Hopefully this is all a dream. She'll wake up in the morning, and realize none of this is real, and she won't need to worry about it anymore. That didn't happen.
When she woke up, she didn't bother to look at her phone. She walked straight into the bathroom, took a long shower, then got dressed for the day. She then grabbed her phone, didn't take a second to look at it, and left the house.
Walking to the cafe, Dohee had a weird feeling inside her. Should she check the phone? No, it's not real anyways. What if it is though?
She hesitantly took the phone out of her pocket, and turned it on. Another message from Minhee.
Are you doing ok? You left quite in a hurry last night?
She felt like screaming. She wanted to punch something. A person, a tree, herself. Mostly herself. How could she let this happen?
I had to get home. Something came up. But I'm alright.
She put the phone back in her pocket and walked faster to the cafe. People began coming in right away. She walked behind the counter and put on an apron. "What happened with that boy last night?" Jiyoung asked.
"I messaged him saying hi. Then I went to bed. And I saw another message when I was walking over here. I was really hoping to wake up and find out none of this happened. He doesn't know who I am. And when he does find out, he's not going to like me at all." Dohee cried.
"Calm down. Of course he'll like you. Who wouldn't? What kinda person would he be if he didn't?" Jiyoung said.
"I'm going to blow it. I know I am. I'm just going to work. Maybe it'll get my mind off everything." Dohee said.
"I don't think that's going to happen." Jiyoung said. Dohee turned around confused. She saw the door swing open, entering Minhee, Eunsang, and Minji. She turned around and closed her eyes, wishing she wasn't there right now. She wanted to slap herself.
The three sat at a table together. Dohee turned to Jiyoung shaking her head, and motioning for her to take their orders. Jiyoung shook her head, and gave Dohee a deadly stare, then mentioned for her to go. Dohee sighed heavily. It's times like this where she wanted to run away from everything.
She grabbed a notepad and a pen and walked over to the table, wishing that something would happen right at this moment. "Can I get you guys anything?" She asked.
"Twenty -"
"Three sandwiches and three coffees. Once again, he's not paying." Minhee cut off Eunsang.
"You're no fun." Eunsang said, glaring at Minhee. Dohee gave a slight smile as she wrote down anything.
"Is that it? No chocolate today?" She asked, jokingly. Eunsang and Minhee gave a slight laugh.
"What makes you think we eat that stuff all the time?" Minji asked angrily. Dohee was about to say something, but was cut off by Minhee.
"She was talking about Eunsang. Not you." He said. Minji leaned back on the chair, and looked outside the window.
