"hey ruby,"

i knew that voice
it belonged to my one and only enemy, ree allison platinum.

at least that's what i thought.

"what do you want, bitch?" i spat, turning around to face her in the dark.

"you," she smirked.

i huffed.
she's pretty darn annoying.

ree walked closer towards me, and i knew that she could sense i was faking my confidence, but i continued to stare right back at her.

until i noticed something different.

the way she walked wasn't the same,
her skin was normally much more pale than this, and her eyes weren't their blood red colour anymore.

she smiled widely as she pulled off the wig of short, jet-black hair streaked with red off her head, and that's when i saw.

it wasn't ree
it was leah.

"gotcha!" chuckled the slightly older girl, shaking her dirty blonde hair out from that disgusting wig.

"you think you're funny, dontcha?" i asked with a grimace.

"oh yeah, i'm hilarious, aren't i?" her grin was feral, it felt wrong, like it wasn't leah anymore.

"just fuck off, okay?" i muttered, turning away from her gaze.

but she was insistent, following behind me to carry on with whatever she had to say.

"i had a talk with you-know-who today," and i didn't even have to turn around to see the massive shit-eating grin on her face.

i took a deep breath in
i felt that orange-redness in my hands all of a sudden,
i couldn't tell if it was frustration, anger or both, but it gave me this uncontrollable amount of energy and power, so i turned around, smiled innocently at her, then without any warning, i lifted my hand up, and forced it down, which somehow caused that orange-red to release itself out of the prison that my hand had created for it.

the blonde haired girl with the silver-blue-green eyes dropped to the ground, unconscious on the black marble floor of the scansed, and i took one look at her, before turning around swiftly and walking out through the heavy wooden doors.

"good night, 'dreamer girl'," i scoffed, then closed the doors behind me.
