Attention on you, eyes on her sight
Love unmoving giving the world no care
Spotlight will be on her, my eyes on her smile
Walked with her, hand in hand, as long as you are behind me, I won't realise the mile
All ears for her and her laughter have no place in my ears
I wish you were but you don't deserve the spotlight.
You are there in the shadows
Behind my stage
But I can't reach out for the meadows
Yes, it feels like a cage
Don't shed tears, they feel like spears
I know I can't wipe your fears
Wishing you could also read me through
Hoping you could hear me out
You don't deserve the spotlight
You deserve the moonlight to my every night....
