I felt someone grab a hold on my arm and pull me back, I fell into their arms and looked up at their face.
My heart began beating fast as if it were about to jump out, once I saw it was Cole grabbing my arm.
I leaped out of his arms in an instant. I looked deep into his eyes, they glimmered with the sunlight in his eyes. I could see the sadness and sorrow he felt.
"Do you think I'm stupid or something?" I snapped at Cole.
"I never said that" Cole whispered and reached to put his hand on my shoulder.
"You lied to me. You used your hard-earned money on me. You had crazy stalkers follow us who could've -" I drifted off and began to stare at the ground.
"I'm sorry" I whispered to Cole without looking up.
"Look at me," Cole said, lifting up my head from my chin, "There's no need to apologize, I'm the one who should be sorry"
"Don't be so dramatic. He's famous, boo-hoo, big deal" Brynn says as her and the others walked over to us.
"Shut up, Brynn" Cole snapped without even turning to see who was speaking.
Brynn opened her mouth as if she were about to say something, but instead, she closed it and crossed her arms onto her chest.
"Is there a problem, Brynn?" I asked, stepping forward closer to her.
"No," Brynn replied and rolled her eyes at me.
"You obviously have a problem with me" I snapped. "Or you just want my man" I continued and gestured towards Cole.
Everyone gasped except Brynn, instead, Brynn's small but long arms came forward into my chest. All I could remember was falling and hitting the ground beneath me, as I fell I saw Brynn's bratty face with a big smirk across it.
I must have blacked out for a while because the next thing I knew I laid in a hospital bed in a room occupied by only me, a nurse and Cole.
"She's awake" Cole spoke to the nurse on the other side of the hospital ned, as soon as my eyes opened.
"W-where's B-Brynn?" I was stuttered, trying to remember all that had happened not too long ago.
"She isn't here. She went home" Cole whispered and sat on the edge of my bed beside me.
Cole noticed the nurse begin to leave the room, he mouthed the words 'thank you' in which the nurse replied with a smile and a nod.
"W-where's my m-mom" I mumbled, still processing everything that had happened.
"She's not here" Cole replied softly and shifted a small bit closer to me.
"Ouch" I yelped in pain as Cole bumped ever so slightly into my wrist.
I looked down at my left wrist, it laid still in a dark blue cast on the bedside Cole.
"Sorry" Cole instantly replied kissing me lightly on the forehead.
"W-who are you?" I mumbled, looking at Cole's face.
"You don't remember me?" Cole spoke, his eyes and face lit up with fear.
"Gotcha!" I snapped and began to giggle.
Cole sighed and poked my cheek as a joke, "don't do that again, you hurt my feelings" Cole spoke and looked at me with puppy eyes.
"Did she break it?" I asked, gesturing at my wrist cast.
"Yes, but the doctors said it should be healed in a few weeks" Cole answered.
"Good. I'll need it to punch her back" I joked.
"No punching anymore" Cole laughed as there was a soft knock on the door.
"Come in" Cole spoke to the person outside the door.
The door swung open, Liam, Kai and Leia walked into the room. Leia carried a light brown, medium-sized teddy bear and a box of chocolates, which she placed onto my bed.
"All they had in the gift shop was leftovers from July the 4th, sorry" Leia explained with a giggle.
"That's fine, thank you" I smiled and grabbed the fluffy stuffed animal with my non-broken hand.
"How are you doing now?" Leia asked.
"Not too well, I'm in a lot of pain" I replied,
"I'll go ask the nurse for some medication for you" Cole offered and walked out of the room without asking if I wanted any.
"He didn't even ask me" I whispered to Leia and laughed.
Kai and Liam sat in the chairs at the end of the room, they talked and laughed with each other.
"What are they besties now?" I joked to Leia.
"They seem to be" Leia replied and smiled.
There was another soft, quiet knock on the door.
"That better not be Brynn -" I began to say.
"-or I'll bite her head off" Leia continued my sentence.
Great. We were finishing each other's sentences now, I thought and smiled.
