July 7th - 4 years later

Lunch time. Probably one of Yoongi's favourite parts of the day, aside from going to sleep.

Today he'd picked out a packet of Monster Munch crisps and an egg and bacon sandwich. After taking the first bite, he hummed in satisfaction and closed his eyes to favour the flavor.

It was then that he heard some chuckling coming from beside him. Surprised, he looked over and his eyes landed on possibly the most beautiful person he'd ever seen. Although he was still confused as to why he'd chose to sit so close to him.

"Ummm.. What's so funny?" Yoongi asked in a confused and perhaps slightly scared voice. Yoongi was in no way shape or form scared to talk to people, but the boy with the jet black hair and pretty ear piercing was just so pretty that he couldn't help but be scared of him.

"Nothing, nothing, you just seem to really be enjoying that sandwich more than I've ever seen anyone enjoy anything" spoke the boy. The two made eye contact for the first time. The boy had deep brown eyes which were almost identical to Yoongi's.

The one word Yoongi could use to describe his feelings were shocked. Why was he talking to him? Why had he never seen him before? Does he not know I'm the homeless kid? How is he so pretty?

"By the way, I'm Hoseok! Jung Hoseok!" spoke the cheerful teen next to him as he held out a hand. Yoongi gladly took it and shook it firmly.

"Yoongi. I'm Yoongi" he responded, making Hosoek nod. Yoongi took yet another bite of his food and this time he didn't hum or close his eyes. He felt stupid for doing it now that someone had pointed it out. He couldn't help but notice how much worse the food tasted when he coudlnt close his eyes or hum.

"I'm actually new around here... This is only my first week. I started here only two days ago" Hoseok suddenly told him and now it all made sense. He knew no one. He didn't know Yoongi was the homeless kid. Or as some called him the homeless fag as they weren't accepting of that community.

"Ah, that makes sense why you're talking to me then" Yoongi said, not meaning to say it loud enough so that Hoseok's ears could hear.

"What?"

Yoongi's eyes widened and his cheeks flushed slightly red. "O-oh! Nothing.. Don't worry.."

"No, no, explain what you mean by that" Hosoek prompted and Yoongi shook his head immediately.

"It's embarrassing. I'll tell you once I know I don't have to be embarrassed around you" he said in a harsh voice. Hosoek nodded immediately and went silent for just a few seconds. For Yoongi the silence was comfortable but for Hoseok it felt almost scary.

"Hey, Yoongi?" Hoseok asked after about a minute of sitting and eating in silence. Yoongi didn't speak a word and just looked over at him with questioning eyes.

"Can I get your number?" asked Hosoek. After gulping down his food, he spoke.

"I don't have a phone" he told him bluntly and he watched as his phone morphed into a mixture of emotions; disappointment, confusion, curiosity, and sympathy.

"Oh.. Are you poor?" asked Hosoek hesitently.

Yoongi had to try not to shoot him a death glare. "No, I'm not poor. If I were poor I wouldn't have a job and be earning £200 a week"

Hosoek nodded slightly. As if on cue, the bell rang which saved the awkward aura which lingered in the air.

"If you earn that much money then why don't you buy a phone?" questioned Hosoek as they went to the bin to put their rubbish away.

"I don't know where to buy phones" Yoongi shrugged. He still coudlnt get over just how pretty Hosoek was. He wanted to ask his skin care routine but that might come across as weird or too much to ask since they'd only met a few minutes ago.

"I'll take you shopping if you'd like.. How about I meet you at the school gates at 4?" Hoseok questioned, "And then I can drive us to the mall and we can get you a phone?"

"Uhhh.. Sure. How much money do phones cost?"

"If you want a good one then probably around £500" he said, shrugging a bit, "anyway, I have German right now, what about you?"

"I have German too... In B18"

"Oh, same! How have I never noticed you?" asked Hoseok in his cheerful and happy voice. He sounded like a toddler excited for Christmas.

To Hoseok's question, Yoongi just simply shrugged as he wouldn't know what to answer with.

Class began and they all worked in silence.
