It was just another day at the office. The paperwork is boring, the day is just completely off. It just wasn't a nice day at all.
"You remember that you have to go see Apollo tomorrow which means you have to travel tonight to get there." Thanatos informs me. Ah shit! I totally forgot about it. It is not like me to forget. "Dahm just make the arrangements, I have to let Pandeia know."
There is a soft knock and Thanatos looks confused. Who would knock so soft, Pandeia usually storms in. "Come in." I meet the face of my beautiful wife.
It's been going really well with us, the connection just keeps getting stronger ans stronger.
I keep falling for her every day. "Darling, how can we help you? Is everything alright?" She didn't meet my eyes. She was fiddling with her fingers. "Hades, I..." She was very nervous. "Hey it's oky, what's wrong?" I held her in my arms. "I wanted to ask you something, do you think maby, that we could, uhm... Could you meet me at the lake tonight?" That's a wierd request of her. "Not tonight Darling, I have to go to Apollo to settle some things that I completely forgot about." Her shoulders sagged. "Oh, oky, I'll be going." She breaks out of my hold and leaves the office. "As much as I hate pda in front of me, I can well say that I've never seen her act like this." I had to agree with him, but I can't think about this right now, I have to get ready. "Let's just get this stuff done before I leave tonight." I do the paperwork, pushing the worry I have over Pandeia in the back of my mind.

"Hades, look." Thanatos point his finger behind me at the window or to be more specific, the weather. It was cloudy and it was raining lightly. It's no doubt about it, this was Pandeia. "You know you are responsible for this, don't you?" I knew it was. "I can't think about it now, I have to go to Apollo's." We gather the paper, "I'll do this, you go say goodbye to your wife before all hell breaks loose." He shoves me out of the office and I psych myself to go find her.

"Lana, have you seen the Queen?" It was one of Pandeia's maids. "Lord Hades, no I haven't. Maby Nora will know she's in the kitchen." I make my way to the kitchen while asking the staff on the way if they have seen her. No one seems to know where she is. "Nora, have you seen the Queen." She's startled by my voice and almost made her stuff fall from her hands. "Lord Hades, I've seen her in the back garden,but I am not sure if she is still there." Quick question, how many people does it take to find a queen?
She was not in the garden and they say she went up north, there is a river she likes there.

At last I find her, Midnight and Yami are chasing each other around the tree. She totally stands out from the scene yet makes it so beautiful, dressed in a white dress, she seems ro be humming while playing with the water. I slowly creep up on her. I see that when she plays with the water is seems like she is painting the stars, her eyes are closed and it looks like she is light-years away. Like the wind will sweep her away. "What do you want Hades?" That stopped me on my tracks. Her voice was not welcoming. How did she even know I was behind her?
"I just wanted to say goodbye, I have to leave to Apollo's now, I didn't want to leave without seeing you." She still didn't look at me. I kneel in front of her and cup her face with my hands. "Hey, look at me love." She looks at me, her eyes held so much sadness. "What is wrong?" She was crying now and I wanted to shoot myself. How could I just put her in the back of my mind like that when I knew something was bothering her. She sniffs but then gives me a soft smile She places her hand on my cheek and I lean into her touch. Her hands always feels like fragile rose petals. "Don't worry about me oky, I'll be here when you get back. I'm fine I promise. Just emotional, don't worry oky." I didn't believe her for one second, but I'll give her time. "Alright, I'll be home soon." She gives me a tight hug. "Be home soon, I love you." Every time she says that my heart skips a beat. "I love you." I kiss her forehead. She smiles ang giggle, "There is that smile, now I will leave."
I was just about to go, but she grabbed my hand. "Be save Hades, oky."
"I will, I promise." She pulls me in for a deep kiss as I fall on her but kept my body steady.
Her lips are now swollen and we are out of breath. "I'll be back."

"Apollo, it's good to see you. As bright as ever." I finally made it to Apollo's realm. I've never felt so crap about leaving my realm. Pandeia being the main reason. I don't like to be away from her at all.
"Hades, as dark as ever, let's get a drink before we begin." I know I won't be able to refuse him because he will just keep nagging me and I want to go home as soon as possible. He hands me my drink.
"So, how's my prodigy doing?" I was confused. "Ah, I meant Pandeia, she used to hang out with me and Artemis all the time and couldn't hear enough of the stories we tell her." Oh she mentioned that. "She's fine, we've been really good." Besides the wierd mood she's been in and the light storm that the underworld is having. He's glances deep into his glass, "Hades, come on, I know there is a light storm going on over there." He gives me a smug smile. "How'd you know?"
"Eh, I have my ways." He keeps staring at me and it ticks me off. I just want to punch him!
"What Apollo!?" He puts his glass down. "Nothing, let's get to work." Best idea Apollo ever had!
