Great News And Good News_31: Pandeia

I didn't get to tell Hades that I was with child. The day he got back from Apollo's I wanted to tell him, but Thanatos ruined that moment when he knocked on the door saying that he needed Hades. I left it at that because I wanted to tell him in a creative way. So far I don't have anything. "Sebastian!" He entered the room so fast,all bright and eager to hear what I want. "Yes Pan?"
"Did my mother say when she will be visiting?" I continue to read the report.
"Wel in a way, she told me when the moon tells her so she will come." Arg, as I suspected. Her answers are always to non specific. "I should've known, oeh can you please fetch me French fries and a bucket of ice cream please!" I craved it, I think it's the little one giving me the cravings. Sebastian looked at me wierd but he went to fetch me some anyway. My mind was spinning to get ideas on how to give Hades the news.
"Well now, what's with the face?" I've never been so happy to hear her voice. "Mother!" I race to give her a hug. "Oh my baby girl, I've missed you so much. So tell me, what have you been up to, being a married woman for what, I think almost three years now." I tried to hide my tinted cheeks. "Oh you have been doing the deed." She wiggle her eyebrows suggestivly. "Calm down mother, it's only natural. We are married afterall." I turn away to hide my blush. It feels wierd to speak about my martial affairs with my mother of all people.
Sebastian came in, but stops when he sees my mother. "Lady Selene, I was not expecting you." He bowed, still holding my delicate, mouth watering food.
"Yes well I was not expecting me too." She eyes the food with a wierd expression, looking wary of the combination.
They didn't say anything, but I am impatient and I want my food.
"Gimme my food Bassy!" He didn't need to be told twice. I dipped the fry into the ice cream and ate it. I moaned from how wonderful it tasted in my mouth. It feels like two galaxies colliding, forming one amazing galaxy. My mother just sat there eyeing me eating the food. I did not offer her, I was really hungry.
"You're with child."
It was not a question it was a statement. Her words took me by surprise that she could figure it out bedore I even told her. "I am." Her serious face turned into one of joy and she jumped up and down. "But please don't tell anyone. I need to tell Hades first." She zipped her lips and threw away the key. "Alright I wil, but don't take too long, I would like to see Zeus's face when he learns about your child." I roll my eyes, he'd never leave the underworld, Hades would surely be ticked off.
"Yeah, I would postpone that for as long as possible."
We giggled together, thinking of when Mother was pregnant with Ersa, he really wouldn't leave her side.
"I'm glad you have such a wonderful marriage, I knew you two would eventually realize how much you two love each other." I smiled, thinking of how happy I am with Hades.
"Mother, do you have someone that you..." I knew I was playing with fire. "loved?"
My mother's mood did a 180, I could see the tears forming. "I had, once very very long ago." I did not say a word, if she wanted to continue she could. "He was human , but he was the most handsome man I've ever seen." It was as if she was reliving the moment she saw him, her smile, her eyes, it held great love.
"He was a shepard, very wise, brave and strong. After staring at him for some time, I desguised myself as a maiden to meet him in person. I've been keeping an eye on him for so long, I had to meet him, if only just once."
My mother fiddled with her fingers. "He was everything I was hoping for, we talked for hours and hours on end. The day ended so I had to come back home." Tears were forming in her eyes. "That night, while doing my normal routine, he met another woman, their light shined so brightly together." Oh mother. "So I did my job, they were married soon enough. I cast my blessing on her. It was the very least I could do for him, his offspring would always have a son to carry on his name and legacy. One of them became King, and his line is still ruling till this day, but they were never him, I could only see him." I hugged my mother while she cried. "It's oky mother, I am here for you." Her face smiled, but her eyes held so much sadness. "Well besides the good news I got, I'm bringing you some good news too." she jumps from excitement. Yeap I am definitely my mother's daughter. "So, tell me already." I was jumping with her too. At that moment Hades walked in giving us the strangest look combined with a look that looks like a deer caught in headlights. "Am I interupting something?" My mother and I greeted him at the same time only I jumped for him to catch me in a hug. He only smiled in return. "So, is it safe to ask why you are jumpimg around?"
"Well, mom was about the tell me the great news." He waits for me to continue. "And? What's the good news?"
I look over at my mother. She was smiling so brightly. "Well, I guess you've been busy, soo, tonight is the 10th blue moon." She didn't need to say anything more. I was screaming with joy that Hades had to cover his ears. "I can't believe I get to witness it again!"
"That's not all, I want you to dance it with me, you are ready."  I'm sure I looked like a lunatic with my smile.
"I, I get to dance the ritual! "Are you sure, Mom?" My voice was shaky. I've heard my mother sing and dance the song a hundred times, I've always wanted to assist her in the dance.
She nods, there was no hesitation on her face. "I can't believe it." I whisper and my smile as wide as it could be.
I've been waiting for this moment for so long.
