These sisters lived so long ago there exact birthdate is a unknown. Their father was a general in the army. Their father was great at martial arts so they became experts in martial arts. This was a time where Women and Men were equal. One of the sisters named Trúng Trác got married when the Chinese invaded Vietnam. Her husband was furious. He decided to fight the Chinese. It ended very badly. The Chinese made an example of him. Her husband was executed. She was heartbroken but she was also furious with the Chinese. She decided to fight the Chinese. When the Chinese attacked their village the sisters lead a fight against them. They won the fight because of their victory they started an army and many of the warriors were women.
The sisters rebellion was hugely successful at first. Their army of warriors took back many of the land of the Chinese took from them. Their army took over so much land that they were soon in charge of Nanyue , A region that today includes parts of northern Vietnam and southern China. The sisters declared themselves queens and repelled China for three years. But in 43 CE the sisters were defeated by the Chinese in battle. People don't know what happened to them some say they were executed some say they died in battle but one thing is for sure they inspired girls all over the world that they can be warriors too.
