Chapter 1: First Day

Baileys Pov

I wake up & turn off my phone alarm. I climb out of bed & grab a white shirt & put a red flannel button up & put it over my white one. I roll up the sleeves & leave the front unbuttoned.

I put on blue skinny jeans & some red vans. I would wear my best outfit but I'm lazy.

I walk downstairs & grab some food.

"Hey bail" my brother says.

"I hate you leave me alone"

"Aww is little bails mad you don't wanna be mad on your first day"

I walk out the door & onto the bus.it doesn't line up with my driveway which sucks so I have to walk on the grass.

I sit at the back & wait for the bus to start moving. The bus is rife is long so long. Suddenly the bus stops. We wait & wait.

"Sorry I lost track of time" I hear a voice say. He walks towards the back & sits next to me.

"Hey I'm Hayes"

"Hey I'm Bailey"

"I think you should turn off your phone it's about to die"

I look down at my phone. It says 3%

"Wow I don't think I'll last long"

"Dont worry I have a portable charger"

"Thanks"

We arrive at school & I barely see anyone I know.

"Let me see your schedule Bailey. Wow we have the same classes & breaks. School doesn't start until 9 so we should just sit at these tables outside"

We sit down & Hayes looks at me & I look at him. His beautiful hair. Tan skin, his lips.

"Bailey"

"Oh sorry what?"

"Class is about to start we should run"

"Oh crap"

We make it back just in time. English is boring so I just sit in the back then hayes passes me a note.

It says text me with his number beside it.

I unplug the charger & insert his number. We text until class is over.

The day goes by slow & teachers give us homework. Then it finally comes to our breaks

Everyone has 2 breaks & ours are back to back so we have like a 2hr break.

We sit outside & look wander around campus. We settle near this pond.

"School is bootay" I say.

"Ikr"

"Do you have any social medias hayes?"

Yea let me see your phone.

I hand it too him & he types in his in all the apps.

"Tumblr boy much?"

"Nah that's you Bailey" he laughs

"Hey" I hear someone say it wasn't hayes voice it was someone else's.

"Hey mind if we hang out?" a blonde hair guy asks.

"Sure what's your name?" I ask.

"Kyle"

"Cool I'm Bailey & this is hayes"

"Nice to meet you I saw you in class & you seemed pretty cool to talk to"

"Well your not wrong" i joke.

We start talking & I notice hayes doesn't seem to be having as much fun I wonder why.

"We should go class is going to start in 5 minutes" I say.

We hurry back & Kyles next class seems to be math as well.

We get assigned textbooks & homework.

When the bell rings we hurry out the class.

Hayes & I are walking & we get some heys from thirsty chicks.

Kyle comes up & says if we know which bus is 390

"Hey that's our bus" I say.

"Awesome"

"Why didn't you ride in the morning" hayes asks annoyed.

"Because I have a ride"

"Ok cool but I call sitting next to Bailey"

We get on the bus & kyle is the first to get off & it's just me & Hayes.

"Kyle seems like a cool guy" I say.

"Yeah I guess" hayes says.

"So what did you think of school hayes"

"It was nice & I'm glad I met you & there was this girl named Stacy & she was hot"

When he says that I feel a bit jealous. But I'm not gay I know that.

He gets off the bus moments later & I'm soon to get off.

I go to the kitchen & make myself a sandwich & ignore my brother Zach.

I go upstairs & do math homework & text hayes.

B:same

We start to talk about our lifestyles & hobbies until I fall asleep.
