Chapter 14: Bad Start

Baileys POV

A/N Most schools start in August/September but I'm just saying theirs started in October and it started in the middle of the week😂

October 1st

I haven't taken off the necklace hayes gave me. It makes me feel like he's with me.

Matt has told me he hasn't taken off the necklace I gave him either. I know I should only have feelings for matt but the feelings I had towards hayes are coming back.

My brother invited the griers over to our house to spend New Years Eve with us. Matt said he would come later. I told him ok and he didn't answer. Hayes and I are on good terms which I'm happy about. I needed my bestfriend back. We had been texting nonstop since we had made up.

I don't plan on shattering matts heart into little pieces. I still love him and I don't wanna start the year feeling guilty.

I needed to take a shower. I don't want to start the new year smelly either.

I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around me walking towards the sink. I grab my toothbrush and squirt the toothpaste onto my toothbrush. Round and around I go. When I get done I walk out the bathroom to change clothes since I didn't bring any to change in the bathroom.

I slip the towel off and head for my underwear stack. I feel a pair of eyes watching me. That's when I look and notice someone in the room. There sitting on my bed.

"HAYES WTF" I yelled startled and wondering how long he's been here. I quickly find some boxers and slip them on. "How long have you been here" I ask.

"I got here like 2 minutes ago" he says. Well that question has been answered.

"So um like... why were you staring?" I ask my cheeks felt hot and I knew I was starting to blush.

"Because you walked out the bathroom naked and I thought you saw me here" he says getting up from my bed.

"Ok then I'm going to change you can stay and since you already saw me butt naked you can watch me change as well" I saw giving him a wink. He blushes.

Hayes POV

I was blushing I could tell Bailey noticed but he didn't seem to care. He looked so hot naked. I'm glad that I came when I did. I told cameron I wanted to spend time with my family and he understood but I really wanted to spend it with Bailey. The only thing that bothers me is matt. Surely he is going to come but I have my fingers crossed just in case.

"Soooo.... is Matthew coming?" I asks rubbing the back of my neck. I really didn't want him to come.

"Yea I think. He said he's come later but I don't know how much later because he's being a butt and won't answer my text" he says going over to his closet.

I watch him as he selects some shorts. Why shorts it's cold outside. (Baby it's cold outside. Had to do that😂 it took me three tries to type the laughing emoji fml😂😭)

He bends over to slip on the shorts. Of course being me I stare at the booty. My feelings towards Bailey never left. All that time we spent not talking to each other upset me.

"Hayes your such a creeper" Bailey says snapping me out of my thoughts. I didn't know he put on a shirt but I wasn't thinking for that long.

"Where is he? He should be here by now" Bailey says. Matt hasn't showed up yet and he won't answer baileys calls. My brothers and Zach left to the store. It's almost midnight and the new year.

"Come on let's go the balcony sure enough someone in you're neighborhood will put on a firework show" I say. He nods following me to the balcony. We get there and it stays silent. I look at my phone and check the time.

"4 more minutes until the new year" I say trying to break the silence.

"Yea I wish I could get my new years kiss though" he says looking over the balcony. He tilts his head up to look at the starry night sky.

"Maybe he doesn't want me anymore" he says. He turns to me and I see the tears forming in his eyes.

"Bailey you're amazing who wouldn't want you I wouldn't give you up" I say putting my hand on his shoulder.

"Thanks" he says. I check my phone again.

One more minute

"But I'm still not going to get to kiss Matthew" he whines.

"You don't have to kiss him" I say. I grab his waist and lean in placing my lips on his. He doesn't move his lips at first but he gives in. The warmth of his lips is wonderful. A sheepish smile appears on my face. The sound of booming fireworks tell us that it's a new year. I deepen the kiss and slip my tongue in. Slipping my hand up his shirt to feel his body. He pulls away before I could do anything else.

"I got New Years kiss and as much as I enjoyed it I know it's wrong" he says.

"Does this feel wrong?" I say. Grabbing the back of his neck and reconnecting our lips. He kisses back and I feel him smile into the kiss. This time I pull away. I give him a smirk. He just giggles and opens his mouth to speak.....

"Oh the things you do to me"

Yay I updated im late but I'm not a week late. I'm going to update my other book and then I'll update this one.

Omg this morning I was looking through the magcontour instagram and saw the "New Magcon" and it was just horrible they are creating horrible copies of the originals like an Asian(Cartah) who looks ugly. One girl(Just like when mahogany was the only girl) she's pretty but no mahoganys the true queen. Also this little boy who people say looks like Matthew but not mattchu is one of a kind. That kid is from xfactor and he got eliminated when he performed at Britney's house.
