Chapter 5 Resisting

Izuku POV:

After yesterday with Jiro, Kaminari, Ururaka and I going out on a 'friendly outing' (not for KamiJiro though!) I could definitely know my feelings were growing a lot more, if I hadn't noticed before I definitely did now. My heart usually throbbed or skipped a beat whenever I was close or near to her which is usual but I didn't know that whenever I got close to her I had a strong feeling to hold her hand or just straight up kiss her. I didn't like it that much because of how much it hurt.

At the moment I'm in my room trying to do some homework and study hard for a test was coming up soon and after my work studies came to an end I realised how much I was lagging behind. I wanted to become a strong and brainy hero so I have to work hard on both places. Which is easier said than done.

Man this homework is actually turning out to be pretty difficult bet Kaminari is having fun. I chuckle to my little joke. But seriously this is actually pretty hard I should maybe ask if Iida could have a look a this with me. I get a text message on my phone, I knew this as my phone had vibrated. I moved my scarred and rough hand towards the phone checking to see what the message I had received was about.

It was Iida. Perfect timing! I thought and opened my phone to a bright screen.
Iida: Hey Midoriya! I just wanted to inform you that you should not come to my dorm right now. Is that ok?
Izuku: Yh thats fine dw bout it
Iida: Ok! Thank you for your time!
Wonder what's going on with Iida at the moment.

Iida POV: (random and short lmao)

I'm sorry Midoriya but a special someone is coming around tonight. Not in a dirty way though I'm not like that at all. I wondered why I was thinking this when Midoriya couldn't here me in the first place.

Back to Izuku POV:

I was about to put my phone down when I had an idea to message Kirishima if he wanted to come round with Todoroki aswell. Just a friendly work time I guess. I receive a message almost instantly from Kirishima saying 'coming round now bro' and then a couple minutes later when Kirishima has arrived Todoroki also agreed and boom we started homework together.

After a while we easily finished the homework and decided to stay in my room to watch some tv and talk about random stuff that came up into our heads. "So then I said to him, bro your so stupid that you took a computer mouse to the vet when I said it wasn't working well! It was so funny!" Kirishima stated making me laugh a lot and getting a little hmph out of Todoroki. "On the topic of Kaminari..." I was about to start a sentence until Kirishima interrupted "We weren't talking about Kaminari! That's even funnier that you thought it was him!" We all started laughing that time getting a giggle out of the edgy boy.

"Anyway.." I continue "I think that he's going out with Jiro..." I tell them that and they look at me intrigued. "Interesting please tell us more" Todoroki tells me. I nod and continue "It started yesterday in the park me and Ururaka were in-front of them and I turned around and they were hardcore kissing like seriously!" I know I said that I wouldn't tell anyone but... that was yesterday now so who cares. "Oh wow really? That sounds like juicy information I can use that to my advantage now!" Kirishima says pulling out his phone about to text Ashido. "No stop!" I shout grabbing Kirishima's attention "He might want it kept as a secret for now but I trust you so don't tell anyone deal?" They both look at each other as if they know what they're about to say. "Deal." And with that ya three had a secret that we couldn't tell.

The next morning when everyone had woken up and gotten ready for school there was something on the news that had my attention wrapped around it. "In other news" the man said "There has been a record of a number of killings in a local area of that to Tokyo but they have usually been in hidden alleyways and or in the dark so please be careful when out at night or walking in a dark alley. The man that has been making the killings seems to have the name Funsaisuru and his quirk has to be something with bones because every victim we've encountered hasn't got a number of bones. Be careful please and thank you. Now the weather." I turned off the TV and started walking to school thinking about the man they described on the news. Funsaisuru huh... in romaji that is literally the word for shatter and if it's something to do with bones maybe shattering bones or something. But would he be that straight forward with is name. I shrug it off and sit down in my seat ready for the day to start.

Most of the day was normal. Work, work and a few glances of the girl I'm in love with. The only thing was I couldn't stop thinking about the guy the person on the news was telling us about. As I was deep in thought I didn't hear as a cheery brunette made their way over to my seat. "Hey Deku~" she gleamed but I couldn't hear her as my head was spinning. "Deku? Are you ok? Getting enough sleep?" She asked this time tapping my shoulder snapping me out of my trance. "O..oh sorry yeah I was just thinking about something I had heard this morning on the news. It's been pestering me the whole day but it's probably nothing." I tell her smiling. She starts to blush. Which makes sense because it is pretty hot. "D...do you t...think that I...it's ok if I c...come round to y...your dorm t...tonight D...D...Deku? Maybe to h...help you o..out" Why is she stuttering that's my job. "Sure that's completely fine!" Oblivious to what she just suggested I agreed and she was coming round at 7:30.

6:00 pm

Alright I better start tidying up ready for her to come. I stand up and start gathering up the junk on my desk that was piling up and shoved them in the bin took it down and threw it out. I opened my wardrobe and made it look neat and tidy. The time was 6:45 so there was another 45 minutes left still before she came. So I just went on my laptop which was a really decent one and played some games. Before I knew it it was 7:25 and so I closed down my pc and waited until I heard a knock on the door.

After a while of sitting there for about 5 minutes psyching myself up I heard a knock. I quickly got up and curled my hair with my fingers a bit more and opened it. "Hi Deku!~" she said so cheerfully I nearly was blinded by the light. "Hey U..Ururaka! Come on in!" I replied. She slowly walked into my All Might covered room and I felt super embarrassed as my realisation of my fanboyness struck me. It was devastating. "Wow you really love All Might don't you Deku!" She said. Is that all she's not making fun of me or anything like that?! "Uh yeah I guess I do." I laughed nervously. "So um Deku can I sit down on your desk chair?" She asked I nodded in reply and I plonked myself down on my bed.

"So Deku there is something I've wanted to talk to you about. Its been bothering me for absolutely ages." I just nodded signalling  her to carry on her sentence "Well the thing is your so heroic and brave selfless and sweet like someone that could be a great hero someday which I believe you can be. Your someone that inspires me to be a better person and a better hero so I guess what I'm trying to tell you is that well I...I" she stopped and looked at her hand clenching it into a fist. "No Izuku... this isn't how it should be done. Sorry..." what does she mean this isn't how it's meant to be done? And what's with using my first name also?! She stands up from her chair and starts walking over to me. Slowly and then gradually getting faster launching herself into me like a cannon launching a cannon ball. Then she started...

Crying...

Uncontrollably crying...

Clenching onto me as if she were about to be killed by soldiers at war. I didn't know what to do but I couldn't panic at a time like this so I hugged her. I started crying into her chestnut hair. We were both letting it all out...
Like she was resisting...
