As the sun lost its shine behind the mountains of time
the night is running to the diamond eyes that holds fright
casting his spells all over the sea
Love lays of yesterday
but tonight the bridges of love goes down in flames
Black roses casting down to the sea
Who is this darkness that makes himself a god?
Who is the one that haunts our dreams?
Who makes the light of Love not shine?
Oh, Dark Angel comes to mind
I can see your eyes staring into mine
can't you see Dark Angel all the battles I cried?
You're fighting with me because I am not on your side
You have thrown your words across the sea to battle with me
Your words are sharp and they cut deep
you leave me all alone in a room you call home
you leave me cold with no fire to keep me warm
all I see out from my window are bridges being burnt
And your words saying I have cast a spell on you
and it will never be broken
I cry out saying
Who could love and yet love couldn't hear?
Love that couldn't speak to me
But lock me away in a castle-like a tomb to my grave
Who is to give me word
that true love will find me one day.
