Pleasant it was when love was true
when the wind was soft and not blue
to lie and hate on true love is a shame
the long drooping tears that hold on fear
you know darkness is near,
between shadows of lies
in the woods of evergreen
makes a life that makes one scream
sunlight sheep and darkness one sleeps
what does all of it mean?
I lay my heart upon on the ground
among autumn leaves praying for peace
oh, fair seas! let the moonlight shine upon the waters
clear the flow of true hope,
crystal wounder left in the skies that shines so bright
in true loves eyes for what is right,
oh, the beauty of unbidden hearts
you are the works in amazing ways
glisten and trembled hands love will take its stand
on the land of the free to keep the peace
worshipers of the true God
Lovers of the blood of Jesus Christ will be set one free
even out on the sea that bleeds.
