"Get down." She stated.

Jackson ducked down as she shot one of the Z's in the head. That's what Jackson decided to call them.

She grabbed his arm and bolted down the corridor, him trying to catch up. "What the hell are those things?!" Jackson exclaimed.

"What do you think they are?" The woman replied, not glancing at him.

"Some type of a Zombie. Stalkers maybe." he replied. "Although They don't seems like your normal Stalker... they seem more intelligent than that..."

She let out a ghostly smirk. "Why are you here?" She asked.

"I got a distress call from here. So I decided to check it out." Jackson replied.

She frowned. "You never should've come here. You need to leave. Now."

Jackson raised his eyebrow. He checked the clip in his gun. 15.

"I need to figure out what this thing is and stop it from getting out." He replied sharply, yanking his arm out from her grip. He looks behind them. Nothing. No sign of the Zeds anywhere. Strange...

She rolled her eyes. "Of course you do." She replied sarcastically. "Alright listen. I can take you to the lab we had. Hopefully you can make a cure for this whole thing. If not... then... we going to have to make this thing go nuclear. " She replied.

Jackson nodded. "Alright. That sounds perfect." he replied. He moved his hand out. "Names Jackson. Jackson Rose. Pleasure to meet you." He might as well introduce himself if they are going to be working together.

She frowned. "Alex. Alex Fox." She replied with disdain. "Now that we got that bull crap out of the way, let's get to the lab." She stated and turned on her heel and started to walk away.

Jackson frowned. He began to jog to catch up to her. The dim lights that lit the dark metal corridor began to flicker on and off. The sounds of the undead echoed through the halls and rooms.

"In here. You might need something better than that old handgun of yours." Alex spoke up and turned into what seemed to be a weapons room.

Jackson let out a frown. He followed her in. It was near empty, cleaned out with almost all of its weapons and ammunition. He noticed a sawed off shotgun hanging on the wall. He moved towards it and picked it up. He examined it. "This will do nicely." He murmured. He grabbed a crap ton of boxes filled with shells and put them into his pocket. He grabbed the holster for it and put it on like a backpack and clipped it. He slid the gun onto it, holding it in place.

"Lets go." He stated simply.

Alex nodded and grabbed a Desert Eagle and some ammo and followed him out.

Jackson frowned. All of the lights suddenly went out. He moved his handgun up with his flashlight. He could hear the soft sob of a crying woman, coming from the other end of the hallway. He was cautious. Alex was right behind him, getting his back covered just in case.

They moved closer to the noise.

Jackson noticed the Lab, right behind of a horde of those... things. They seemed to be surrounding something. The noise echoed through the halls. There... fight in the middle of the horde. Maybe that's what they are surrounding. He stopped in his tracks.

"They seem to be drawn by sound." He whispered quietly into Alex's ear.

Alex nodded. She moved her hand to her back pocket and took something out. A grenade.

Jackson frowned. He shook his head. One blast could attract a crap ton more of those things. He placed his hand on hers, lowering it, A shock went through their fingertips.

Alex yelped and covered her mouth, but it was far too late.

The whole horde turned and faced them. A loud screech echoed as they came running.
