He grabbed his gun and ammunition and walked outside of his ship. He was on guard, just in case something or someone tried to come at him. He had a flashlight in his hand as he began to walk around, flashing his light around every dark corner,

"It's quiet.." Jackson murmured.

"Vital signs to your right, Jackson. But be careful... they seem unnatural." His AI assistant spoke to him through his glasses.

"Ah come on, Sarah. It'd probably just a critter of some-" He was suddenly pounce on by something.

It let out a demonic screech as it tried to bite into our heros neck. Jackson tried to kick it off him to no avail.

"Get... off... ME!" Jackson yelled as he finally succeeded. He kicked the creature off of of him and jumped to his feet, aiming his weapon at the demonic being.

It looked horrifying. What was left of it's previous humanity was gone. It was covered and blood and it's skin was already decaying. It's clothes were tethered as it got down on all fours. It began to sprint back towards Jackson with inhuman speeds. Jackson was barely able to put a bullet into its skull, killing it instantly.

He panted, out of breath by what had just happened. He began to gaze down at the creature. He knelt down beside it, not caring how dangerous it is. He began to gaze upon its features. Its skin was gray and covered in blood. Patches of skin seemed to be missing, showing the crimson red muscle tissue. It smelled like it died a hundred times over. Zombie. That was the first word to come to his mind. But no... this doesn't seem to be your run-of-the-mill Walking Dead type zombie, no, this one seemed different... almost more sentient. Kinda like what they have in Resident Evil... maybe a bit of Doom thrown in there.

Jackson shook his head, paying his respects and stood up.

"Several more incoming. You don't have enough ammo for all of them. We need to run." Sarah spoke, kicking Jackson out of his thoughts yet again.

Jackson nodded. He holstered his gun and began to run down a corridor. He took a sharp left turn into a being. He jumped back and quickly aimed his gun and flashlight at the person and they did the same.

Human. He could see her clearly now. She had brilliant blue hair and piercing green eyes. He could tell the person didn't trust him at first sight. She opened her mouth and pointed a gun to his head.
