Okay, so, here's the deal. I am three things in life now. A monster, a mythical being, and a sad little girl. During the day I would come home, take care of Todd (who was very happy to see me) work at the bar and listen to people's sobbing sad story (cause I'm the Listen Lady) And go back to the ninja at night when the bar was closed. I have been doing this for a week now. Learning the ninjas secrets. Learning their fears. Their weaknesses.
And apparently, Lloyd and the bearded guy are relatives. Typical. And the blue annoying whiny guy and the girl in the hair tie love each other, I guess? Don't know the names. Don't really care. And there are two robots. (Also in love, urg). And I guess Lloyd here has a mom. Lucky, my Human Mom hated me. Something about how I remind her too much of Dad. And she was always a bitch too. No lie. Anywhooo, I'm back at the bar cleaning the wooden glass-like counter. Thinking on how to make the ninja feel what I felt for a year . I know it will be hard. Bigger, richer, smarter people have tried. But there is a difference between me, and them. I wait. They just jump right in. But not me. I watch, and listen. And wait until the perfect moment.
Ooohhh, what a glorious day that'll be. When the ninja beg for the chaos to stop, to beg for their friends and family back. Why, when I'm done with them, they will never want to be ninjas ever again. I could care less on what happens to this city. I'm just after the ninja. After all of this is over, then I think I'll make a little house for myself and Todd by a lake far from the city, but near a village. So, you know, I could get stuff. Nothing but peace and quiet. I couldn't help but smile.
"Well, someone seems happy."
I turned and saw Chuck with a smirk on his face.
"What? Everyone smiles. Even the mayor. That nobody sees for some odd reason."
"Well.... You know that red head I've been dating? Bernice?"
"Uh, yeah. What does Bernice have to do with me smiling?"
"You know that shitty saying? 'The more the merrier'? Well, Bernice has been making me pretty happy."
"That's great Chuck. But still.... What does this have to do with me?"
"I've noticed a guy came to your door a couple of nights ago. Green sweeter? Blonde mop? Ringing a bell?"
"Oh! Him. Yeah no. We aren't dating. He just dropped by to.... drop off some news. No dating. I can assure you that."
"Uh huh. Sure. Whatever you say Y/n. Whatever you say. But just so you know. I'm gonna be keeping ma eye, on you, " Chuck said as he leaned in on my face. Like off of 'Cloudy with a chance of meatballs'. I backed up a bit.
"Yeah, okay Chuck. Sure thing. Anyhow, I've got tables to clear. Drinks to make. You know how it is."
I walked off to get the cups off the tables. Each one was empty. Except for one. It had some white stuff in it that I will not name. I gathered them all up and dumped them in the sink in the back. And let me just say it. It was no prettier then the front. My job is.... eh. Okay, I guess. Depends on where you stand. I just can't drink while working. But I can drink before and after work. Always a loop hole in every rule. But it can be hard to find.
I went back out only to find Jim Jones back.... and talking Lloyd fucking what ever his name is. Even though his back was turned to me, I reconized thatblonde hair anywhere. And not because of the green sweater. They talked like they were long lost friends. Jim moved his head a bit to see who it was.
"Well, speak of the devil.," he said.
Lloyd turned and saw me. He flashed me a smile. Oh, great. I walked up to them.
"Hey Y/n! Been a while since I've seen you," Lloyd said.
"Okay, why didn't you just go to my room and talk there? Instead of here. While I'm working."
"I'm sorry, but you weren't there when I knocked. So I came here!"
He have another smile. His green emerald eyes showed happiness.
"Alright, fine. But I need to talk to you about something. Private. In the back here."
Lloyd stood up and followed me to the back. I leaned up against the counter and gave him a smug look.
"Soooo, are you going to tell me about Harumi finally," Lloyd quickly said.
All I said to that was : "Nope."
Making a popping sound at the p.
"Okay then.... what is it?"
"Your the green ninja."
"Oh fuck," his eyes went as wide as saucers as his hands went into his hair.
