Dinner

"How are you going to tell Warner?" Kenji asks. We're back at base and Kenji insisted on walking me to my room. "I don't know Kenji" it still sounds like I've been crying and I don't know if it's happy tears or not I think I'll know when I see how Arron reacts to the news. We've gotten to my bedroom door. "Tell me what happens at dinner okay? Kenji says "okay and thank you Kenji" "no problem princess" and he walks back to his room.
It's almost 5:45 so Arron must be back from training now. I open the door and look around the room for Arron. He's sleeping on the bed. He wakes up when I walk through the door. I'm trying to look happy and I've not been crying. "Juliette?" Warner asks sleepily. "Hi Arron" he's still in his track suit bottoms and t-shirt. "Where were you? When I came back from training you weren't here to I just went to sleep for a while" Warner says. "I was out with Kenji" "oh where did you go?" He asks "just for a walk" I'll tell him the news after dinner. "okay well I'm going to go and get changed and have a shower before dinner" "okay I think I'll just go get changed" he walks past me giving me a light kiss in the cheek when he walks past me and I feel myself smile then he walks into the bathroom. I walk into our big wardrobe and take off the t-shirt and my jeans and and pull on a loose navy dress and a pair of red shoes and put my hair into a pony tail at the top of my head and go back to the room and sit on the bed and start to read a book. When Warner comes out of the bathroom he goes and gets changed in the closet. When he comes out he asks "are you okay you look like you've been crying?" "Yeah I'm fine just happy tears Kenji told me a funny joke" I try to say with a smile. that's one of the worst lies I could have told. Everyone knows Kenji's jokes are awful. "Really I never thought Kishimotto was that funny? Arron asks "he's obviously been practising" I say Arron laughs. "You ready for dinner?" He asks "yeah let's go" I get up off the bed and walk towards him he takes my hand and we walk out the door.
After we've collected our dinners we go over and sit in our normal seats beside Kenji, Adam, James, Sonya, Sara, Castle, Brendan and Winston. A girl names Anna usually sits with us as well I don't know where she is tonight. "James, where's your girlfriend?" I ask "who, Anna? It's her parents anniversary so she went home for a visit" he replies "that's nice" I say. I can't believe James has a girlfriend. He is 18 which is older than me when I had my first boyfriend but I can still picture the scared little boy hugging his brother like he could make everything bad go away.
Kenji moves and comes and sits next to me "have you told him yet J?" He whispers loudly enough that only I can hear him "no I'm going to do it after dinner" I whisper in reply "okay tell me what happens tomorrow princess" "okay Kenji"
Me and Warner are walking back to our room. I didn't eat a lot so there won't be as much to throw up. We get into our bedroom "are you okay?" Arron asks "yeah just fine" I say back he goes into our closet and puts his pyjama bottoms on and comes back into our room topless. I walk into the bathroom and wash my face and brush my hair then go into the wardrobe and put on my purple loose pyjamas then walk back into the room and sit on the bed facing Arron who is reading a book. He looks up at me "what's wrong love?" He asks me. I'm so scared "I need to tell you something" I start. I can feel tears coming again "what is it?" he asks. He looks worried now "today I didn't go for a walk with Kenji. We went to the doctors." I say "why what's wrong" he's staring at me with his gorgeous emerald eyes. "Nothing's wrong. But I've been told that were going to. Have a baby, I'm pregnant" he just stares at me for a moment looking sad "really?" He asks "yes really. You're going to be a father." A huge grin forms on his face "JULIETTE!!! We're going to be parents!!!" I'm smiling like a twit and I'm crying again "yeah I know. I'm so glad your happy" "of course I'm happy. We're going to be a real family" We both just stare at each other for a minute smiling mindlessly and staring into each other's eyes.
Two hours later at about half past ten after talking about names and decorations we decided if it's a girl we're going to call her Alice and paint her room pale yellow if it's a boy we're going to call him Jack and paint his room pale blue. We finally went to bed. Arron lifted up my top and kissed my stomach and then kissed me on the lips. "Goodnight Alice or Jack and goodnight sweetheart" he says "I still love it when you call me sweetheart" he kisses my lightly on the fore head and we crawl under the blankets and I fall asleep pressed against his bare chest and wrapped in his arms.
