*Meanwhile, somewhere inside a Twilight Forest*
No POV

Ambrose come home after talking with Shadow a while ago. He saw Blake hiding behind the tree, while counting the flower petals.

"He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me, he loves me not." Blake said as he counts the flower petal. Ambrose quickly teleport to him and make him shocked.

*Almost forgot, Blake is my gender bender of Blaze the cat*

"Counting the flower petals again, huh Blaky?" Ambrose said as he take the flower from his hand.

"Hey! I'm not finished yet!" Blake shout.

"Nuh-uh! You know that you're not a kid anymore."

"But, Rose..." Blake said in a sad tone as he look down.

"I'm still love you Blaky, don't you worry. I can't wait for the time to come." The pink hedgehog said.

"Time?" Blake said.

"Mmhmm... Time for Sonic the hedgehog to die! I can't believe that I count him in for the sacrifice." Ambrose laughing.

Blake walk in front of him. "Um... Rose. Can you tell me more about the sacrifice thing?"

"Each Twilight Vampire, will have one person to sacrifice themselves for us to live a little bit longer!! There's no way we die that easily. Understand?" Ambrose explained.

Blake nods. "Oh... And this person name Sonic is your sacrifice?" He asked.

"Hmm... Not really, but I really want him to live together with us. He looks cute and a little bit naive too. Why don't we keep him?" Ambrose smirk.

"But, who will sacrifice for you?" Blake asked.

"Sonic has his twin name Shadow the hedgehog. He can sacrifice himself for me and Sonic..."

*At Shadow's mansion*
Sonic's POV

"Shadow..." I said while I'm on his way to his room and saw him reading a book. "May I come in?" As I slowly walk inside.

"Yes you may. Come sit beside me." The black hedgehog said. I teleport to him and sit beside him.

"You're okay?" Shadow asked as he put the book down.

"I'm okay, I just feel uncomfortable about what Ambrose just said."

I look up at Shadow and he make a deep sigh. "Sonic, I just decided that I will become the one who sacrifice."

"What!? You can't just do that!!" I growled.

"I don't have any choice... This is the only one who can save you."

"But I don't wanna lose you!!!" I cried.

"I...I don't wanna lose you too Sonic. I love you."

I cry more after Shadow said that word. After we been through this, I can't lose him. I can't live without him!

"Shadow, who will find me a blood if you're gone?" I cried.

"Ambrose will take care of it. I know that. Anyway, you're an Alpha Vampire. You can do this by yourself." He said as he stroke my quills.

I can't accept that Shadow is sacrifice for me. I need to find someone who can take Shadow's place but I don't know anything and someone that I know.

Shadow hold my hand. "Sonic..."

I look at him, with my eyes full with tears. "Shad... Don't leave me. This world is so cruel!"

"Sonic, look into my eyes..."

I look at his beautiful red ruby eyes and I stop crying. "I can't accept this..." I said. I get up and walk out.

*at the mansion balcony*

"Why me!? First, I become a vampire and I can't even follow Shadow to where ever he goes in every daylight!!"

"Next, Ambrose want Shadow to be his sacrifice ceremony!?!? Oh come on world, why won't you give me a happy life!!!" I said to myself as I mad uncontrollably.

"Thank god, it's night. If it's daylight, I won't be able to stick around here. This is the only place for me to relieve my stress." I said to myself again.

I look up and saw a crescent of a red moon. "Well, it can't be long for now. One month is just like 1 second l can feel it.

" SHADOW!!!"I heard Shadow screaming and quickly went to Shadow's room.
