Gaara

*hey guys I sure hope y'all enjoy this new chapter it may be a little while for the next one I have a few others to update as well.*

Naru led her team in a perfect unified formation and soon they quickly stumbled upon a badly bruised Sasuke and Sakura.
(Damn! she's trapped in his sand!) Naru mentally panicked, seeing Sakura being held up by gaara.

"I was hoping you'd come! MOTHER WILL HAVE YOUR BLOOD!" Erratically screamed gaara. He was half consumed by his own sand, slowly taking the Ichibi"s form.

Gaara slung his sand, desperately trying to snatch Naru but she was far too quick.

'RAAAAAAAGH!" Gaara screeched, saliva dribbling down his chin.

"listen up! Do not engage Gaara under any circumstance, move when I tell you! understood?" Naru's voice carried though the clearing demanding obedience.

"Hai!"

"Neji! Kiba! keep a look out, I want no interruptions! Shikamaru you're in charge." Naru's eyes lingered on the genin and she quickly sprang into action when she saw the determination fill their eyes.

In a flash of white Naru cut clean through Gaara's sand arm barely missing his real one.

"Lee! grab Sakura and Sasuke!" Naru's body was being swarmed by sand.

(sneaky bastard!) The vampire mentally hissed eyes wide.

"SAND COFFIN!" in a swift motion garra tightened his fist crushing naru.

"Naru!" screamed Sasuke far too weak to move.

"YES! BLOOD!" Gaara's twisted face smiled at his victory. The Ichibi was seconds from taking him over completely but it didn't last.

"Too slow!" Naru smirked above Gaara but Shukaku knew she was speaking to him as if she clearly saw him. In a spinning motion she slammed gaara's head with a dense vampiric rasengan.

Everyone watched in disbelief as the blood spinning ball knocked gaara hard into the ground leaving an earth shattering crater. Trees flew miles away. Even those who were in Konoha, felt its tremor.

"Gaara! Leave him alone!" Ran out Temari gripping her fan as her brother followed closely ready to fight. they instantly froze as Naru's blood red eyes met theirs in a cold gaze.

The genin quickly formed around Gaara ready to carry out their orders.

"Stand down." Naru softly spoke understanding the swirling emotions in the sand girl's eyes.

"Are you crazy?!" Shikamaru questioned her but she ignored it.

"Your brother here is lost, If you love him you'll be there. Believe it or not but we Jinchuriki are human well most are, monsters are created." Gaara's eyes widened at her words.

"y-you're a jinchuriki too?" Everyone else watched her eagerly wishing to know as well.

"Yes, My father hid it well but I was treated as a different monster. I am truly sorry for your pain." She softly spoke to him as if he was a frightened child. Naru began pulling out ink and a brush.

"w-why.... are you so strong?" Shakily asked Gaara, eyes filled with yearning.

"Because I wish to protect my precious people and what they love most." Naru smiled at him sadly and in that moment they saw each other in one another. he saw her past horrors but yet she still smiled She was happy. Naru saw potential in him, (He will do fine, he just needed to be pointed in the right direction.)

Kurama felt pride swell in him. (she tore down all that darkness and found light.) He couldn't help but think of his father, the sage of the six paths.

Naru began marking Gaara's body with Fuinjutsu and in a tight hand seal she successfully fixed Gaara's seal making him lose consciousness.

"He can safely sleep now." Naru spoke while motioning for Temari to take her brother. Kankuro and Temari quickly grabbed Gaara but hesitated for just a moment.

"thank you." came Temari's voice and they vanished.

(She took him down with one move... how strong is she?) they all thought in amazement but one was struck with jealousy.

"Quick we must take Sakura and Sasuke to the infirmary!" They moved in an instant as Lee carried Sakura. Sasuke slapped anyone's hands who dared touch him and he barely kept up with them.

(Talk about Diva.) Scoffed Kyu almost making Naru laugh aloud but she agreed with the furball.

Before they reached Konoha's gate Naru came to an immediate stop startling everyone.

Shikamaru had a feeling... an uneasy one.

"Naru?" Shikamaru gently touched her shoulder. She turned around with wide tearful eyes.

"The jiji. hokage is dead." tears lightly rolled down her pale cheeks. they couldn't believe it... she had to be wrong but... she was never wrong. Anbu quickly appeared.

"Naru-sama..." you couldn't see their emotions but behind their masks were tears. she could feel it.

The Anbu with the Tiger mask handed her a scroll and in a flash they were gone.

Naru wiped her tears," Come on the village needs us."

(Naru) kurama was ignored he did his best to send her comforting energy to ease her heart.

Kakashi was stricken with worry as soon as his wife left his gaze but her expression on her beautiful face as she returned worried him more. He swiftly embraced her and her tears flowed.

(Damn she knows...how could I forget she's a sensory type?) Kakashi mentally scolded himself.

Everything else was a blur but there was only one casualty, Sarutobi The god of Shinobi.

Pakkun came running looking completely lost. "Kakashi hat in the hell is going on?" barked Pakkun very confused.

"I'll explain later but for now take Naru home." She was going to resist but one look from Kakashi and she knew he was right. He gently kissed her and she followed Pakkun home filling him in on what happened.

"Lady Naru you gonna be alright?" Pakkun asked her worried.

"In time I will be." Her voice was shaky with emotion.

(Kyu? I'm sorry... thank you.) Naru felt like she lost her parents all over again.

Kurama closed his eyes and smiled.

(Pregnancy hormones really has gotten to ya kit I swear you just apologized and thanked me!) kyu dramatically gasped clutching a clawed hand to his chest.

Naru's eyes went wide... she clutched her sides and laughed hard.

(Stupid fuzzball take the damn apology!) they both laughed enjoying each others antics.

(at least I still have Kyu, Kashi and the little one.) Naru thought fondly as she rubbed her small baby bump.

Naru gasped scaring the shit out of Pakkun.

"what's wrong?" the pug feared the worst.

"The baby... I felt him move!" Naru giggled with excitement while poor Pakkun sweated in relief.

Not all is lost.
