Naru dreaded what was to come next...
(Another funeral...) she thought sadly as everyone gathered, placing roses on Sarutobi's giant head stone wearing black.

Naru looked at her jiji's grandson, Konohamaru as he violently wiped his tears.
She placed a comforting hand on his head making him look up at her. Konohamaru's eyes widened slightly recognizing her and his lip quivered. Naru pulled him in for a hug feeling her mother instincts kick in while Kakashi smiled at her sadly.

Her silent comfort truly made the boy feel like he wasn't alone.
"T-thanks N-naru-neechan..." he whimpered letting her go to be with his kaachan.
Naru sighed feeling Kakashi put his arm around her.

"Let's go kashi... I can't take anymore." Kakashi nodded at her words taking her hand.
Naru couldn't help to notice Sasuke staring at her with an unreadable expression on his face. While Sakura kept thanking him for saving her.

"I didn't save you... Naru did." Sasuke glared at the pink banshee for interrupting his focus.
"Sasuke-kun quit kidding of course you saved me!" Sakura giggled rubbing her flat board chest on his arm. Without warning Sasuke shoved her, storming off saying nothing leaving Sakura in confusion.

Naru and Kakashi shared a look at the strange interaction but continued to leave.

They walked in silence really not knowing where to go until they found themselves near the hot springs.
Naru's body froze recognizing a man with long white hair trying to peek at the women in the spring.

"Naru..." kakashi tried to hold her back but there's no stopping the rage of a pregnant woman.

With no words she calmly walked behind the man and in an incredible kick to the spine he bursted through the wooden wall.

Jiriaya groaned from the immense pain as naked women ran screaming clutching their towels. He dragged himself up and turned to yell at his assaulter only to pale recognizing his goddaughter.
"Naru....I." The sannin breathed out unable to find words.
"Save it. I don't need your useless explanations." Her voice held no emotion, somehow making them more hurtful.

"Wait! I know there's no excuse to not being around but I had a duty to the village to help keep it safe!" Jiriaya walked closer to her only to take a step back.

"Peeking on women is keeping the village safe? Not even writing? Being in the village and not even looking for me..." her eyes began to glow red but she snapped out of it feeling Kakashi grab her hand.

"Jiriaya-san I think it's best you own up to the facts. But I refuse to let you stress my wife any further." Kakashi's one eye glared at the sannin as he lead his wife away ignoring the man's shocked expression.

"I'm sorry I let my anger get the best of me..." Naru sighed feeling shame.
"Don't be you have every reason to be angry." Kakashi eye smiled at her making her blush.

"I wonder who's going to be hokage now?" She asked him genuinely curious.
"Hmm I don't know hopefully a good candidate." The one eyed man chuckled.

"Kakashi-san! The council needs you!" Shouted a young sounding anbu wearing a bird mask.
"Go head home and rest, I'll be there as soon as I can." Kakashi kissed her bye leaving in a swirl of leaves.

(Hey kit I understand if you'd like to take it easy but if you're up for it I'd like to give you a gift.) Kurama peeked her interest.
(I'm not doing anything special so why not.) she thought shrugging her shoulders making her way to her compound.
