Reborn girl from the apocalypse

Chapter 17

September 29
"Is she going to be alright" "I don't know" What did you say happened" "She went in her room sweating but I thought she went to sleep until this morning I heard her scream but the door was locked and then I called you guys and you took her to the hospital" I hear two different voices having a conversation and I am about to say something until I feel like something is trying to split my head in half it is complete agony.

Before passing out from all the pain I hear someone I think Ji Wu say "guys I think we ne.. to c.. help.. her..."

September 30
I feel refreshed like i've been reborn. Well I already have been but my body feels great.
I open my eyes and immediately close it and let out a groan because of the harsh stream of sunlight that is being let in my room by the open hospital window. I slowly open my eyes to see that Akari is laying on a chair and I think my groan must of woken her up because 1 minute after I groan I see her open her eyes and look at me.

Slowly like she is in disbelief she gets up and then runs towards me in a hugging motion but before she can hug me and cautiously engulfs me in her tiny but toned arms. A minute passes before our hug ends and then she starts asking a million questions per minute like how are you but before I can say anything she makes a run for the door. I try calling out for her but my throat is so dry I can only let out an inaudible squeak.

So instead I try to follow her but when I put my feet on the ground I feel an electric shock. I look down to check my feet and then see Akari walk in with Ji Wu and he starts another round of a million questions. Then suddenly I start crying and laughing because never have I felt this cared for, after going through the apocalypse I never thought I would make friends people I care for. So I am deciding from this day forward to help and protect them from the apocalypse.

While I am going through my whole monologue in my head I guess Akari and Ji Wu thought I went crazy. So I'm guessing they called a doctor to check up on me because currently they are talking to a doctor outside the door of my room.
Before I can do anything to grab their attention the doctor walks in with both of them behind him. "Good morning I am Dr.Hujin. Do any parts of your body hurt?" All I can think about is that the doctor is awfully plain looking with a monotone voice. Responding to him I say "Um no I'm okay my body feels great"

Dr.Hujin walks over to while nodding his head and then takes out a flashlight and says " I am going to move this flashlight in front of your eyes can you try to follow it please" I nod my head and then I hear the him click the bottom turning on the flashlight. He brings up to the corner of my left eye and begins to move it across to my end corner of my right eye. When he is done moving it to my right eye he begins the process over but start at my right eye.

When he moves the light on my nose trying to get to my left eye I feel time stop. Out of the corner of my right eye I see little water droplets coming out of the stream of light that is from the open window in my room. Before I can think about what just happened my feel the sting of the flashlight on my left iris so I begin to focus on the light.

When finish the doctor says "You seem to okay" I say "Can I leave now" and the doctor responds with " Yes you can after we do a scan of your brain because we need to check for swelling" I nod my head. While he says The scanning area should be ready now but I will check " after that he turns around and leaves the room. When he leaves Ji Wu starts to ask me fifty million questions like what happened, and why did you lock the door in your room.

I say to him "I don't remember locking the door when I do actually know why but I won't tell I counting to say. I must have ate something the previous night that just made me sick so that is what must have happen we will read the doctor report when we are on our way home okay" When I finish talking the doctor immediately walks in and tells me the room is ready so I get up and go.
1 hour later

"See Ji Wu you don't have to be worried I'm good the report basically says I had ate something bad" He nods his head and smiles at me and I do the same to him and then I turn my head looking through the car window and through the semi reflection I see Akari texting sombody. While looking at the road through I begin to let my mind wonder as to why this happened.

I think I know the reason but I don't want to get my hopes up and even if my thoughts are true then will the apocalypse happen early. Ahh so many questions and so many things I need to prepare for.
