Reborn girl from the apocalypse

Chapter 20

As the chuck of ice flies closer to his head I zone out everything but the ice chuck and it starts to change directions almost like wind blew it back. As soon as it flies back I become more aware of my surrounding and immdetaily notice that Ji Wu is saying my name so I smile at him and ask if he is okay. "I'm okay but are you because out of no where you suddenly zoned out" he says with concern written on his face. So I say "I'm fine I was just really worried that you would get hurt because of the chuck of ice" When I finish speaking I see red slowly start to spread on his face. I say loudly in the cafe "everything should be forgotten"  I look towards him smiling and ask him to continue the story and he starts to hesitate with confusion written on his face but then he continues where he left off in the story.                                                                                                                                                                                                                        While he is talking I let my mind wonder to what happened but I dont let it show on my face that I am not listening. So when he laughs I smile and when he smiles I laugh but all I can really wrap my head around is what just happened. Something impossible happened and I feel that I had something to do with that but before I can dive deeper into the topic on hand. I catch Ji Wu asking me where I am from and why I moved. I let out a soft giggle and I let out a half truth "I wouldn't have survived there because of the people there." After this our conversation drifts from our passions and things we hate and slowly I forget about what I was thinking about. Until it is time for Ji Wu to pay for the bill and I ask the waitress that served us our food about what she thinks happened and her face morphs into pure confusion so I explain to her what happened the whole blowing of the cup even though she was there to see it and she gives me a weird look and says that never happened so I towards Ji Wu and he has a look of confusion on his face and says to me when the waitress leaves "what a weird joke I knew you had a sense of humor but not a dark one" and then he gently grabs my hand holding it to his and continues with"but I guess I like it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      While walking out of the cafe I start questioning my self asking if I was so angry that I made it up. I almost belive this until I see the Man holding his bloody hand with his other hand as emt are there treating him while Ji Wu is pulling out. What is happening ever sense I passed out weird things that I cant control are happing and I know I am not going crazy. Through out the drive home me and Ji Wu joke around while in  the back of my mind I try to figure whats going on with me. It's not untill midnight while laying in bed thinking about me and Ji Wu walk up the stairs together and him saying that he really enjoyed our date together do I realise what must have happend.                                                                                                                                                                                (Author here its 9:29 for me right now I have a question about what do you think happened to her and I would like to thank everyone for reading.
