Oct 1st

Ding Ding Ding getting yanked out of my trance my eyes starts to focus onto the door bell that's ringing looking towards the clock I realize it's 7pm crap . How did time go by so fast all I remember is....... nothing only that I got a text from Ji Wu weird shaking off the feeling I walk towards the peep hole to see who it is smiling I open the door.
"Xiao Lin long time no see how gave you been" I say. "Good good and you" she says while hugging me I respond to her "okay you know still mad you haven't talked to me in like a week but I'll forgive you if you walk me out of the apartment" "what why I just got here" " well if you must know I I have a date" "ahhhh you do well I'll just stay here and wait up remember you have a curfew and no touchy stuff" giggling I run up to my room and looking into it I still see a layer of snow grabbing my phone I sigh while locking the door. Looking down I see a text from Ji Wu smiling I text him "coming".

Briefly walking down the stairs I grab my purse and tell Xiao Lan "you better not eat all my snacks. See you at 10 bye". Walking towards the elevator I hear her yell bye. I step in the elevator pressing the 1st floor button and start smiling when the door closes suddenly my stomach drops and it feels like time has suddenly slowed down or maybe the speed of the elevator either way my nerves start to spike up and then it all goes back to normal. Breathe I remind myself breathe.

I walk out of the elevator and towards Ji Wu car that's parked right in front as I get closer towards the car I can see him looking at me smiling that what he doing so I start looking down to my bag and I don't look up until I feel that in front of his car. Pulling it open I step in and he says "you look nice today" and I look up to him "not that you don't look nice every day" and that gets me giggling and I give him a compliment back and he starts driving towards a movie theater that is near by. While driving he says "I thought you might have stood me up" I look up "why" I ask "because of how long you took" "what it's only been like 10 minutes pass seven" he looks at me curious and says "no silly it's 8:10" "8:10!!??" I say with urgency it couldn't be looking down at my phone it reads 8:11. "

"Maybe it's my clock you know it's been acting up a bit" I say to him non convincingly. And again trying to convince us both. "Why did you stay in though the car I mean" "I don't know really I could feel that you were coming I guess and also your text message" "oh" I nod "maybe we're connected" we laugh together at that and looking up I see that we arrived at the theater.

Walking to the booth we make it just in time before the movie started luckily he planned to have dinner before hand but because of the time.... the time what happened there maybe it us the clock but.... I remember it being 7 taking my phone from my bag I text Xiao LAN and ask her what time she got in and then I remember that I texted him before and it reads 7:06 closing my phone and putting it down I knew it. If I was right then what is going on. Before I can think mire Ji Wu grabs my hand holding it and I look up to him and I see him smile and I smile back the we both look towards the screen pushing my writing thoughts back.

I start to watch the movie a zombie movie how ironic getting bored I zoom out and then boom the credits are rolling and before I can process it Ji Wu is saying how amazing it was and I nod and smile and say it was action packed but knowing anything about it at all maybe I just zoned out. Walking back to the car together I apologize for being an hr late and he says "it's fine you can't control your broken clock" and I look at him not because of the words but because he sounded so serious and like he believed it.

Getting into the car I say "but didn't you get the text I sent you at 7:06 you must be curious" he says before I can finish my sentence "what do you mean I could have sworn that you sent it at 8:06" looking at my phone to show him that it was at 7 I see it at 8 and he says " see it was at 8 maybe you need more sleep or are you stressed Akari said that the incident before affected you a lot but you don't need to be we are perfectly good at what We do and the incident was caused by carelessness so don't worry." I nod at him speechless and finally muster out while smiling" I know I know" that seems to soothes his nerves but not me because I don't know.... don't know at all what is happening.

Telling almost yelling at myself to breathe I take in a deep breathe while looking out the window towards the scenery and 10 mins we're at the apartments. Walking into the building together he tells me he needs to talk to the rest of his group so he can't come up all the way with me in the elevator and I nod and grab his hand after we step into the elevator. When he gets off and the door closes I receive a text from Xiao Lan and it reads "I came over at 7pm" and with that I lose the last grasp of sanity left.
