Reborn girl from the apocalypse

Chapter 25

October 10th
Staring into the darkness my thoughts flow through I still can't figure out what helped me develop my abilities so for now I am stuck trying to use my powers in small ways and even that is difficult. It's like a brick wall is in front of me each time I try or sometimes it goes completely haywire like the time I froze my faucet. It was so hard explaining to the plumber how this happened even more so to Ji Wu when he found out. I tried using my power to try and confuse them but it didn't work the one moment I needed it life currently sucks for me.

Turning to the alarm clock the bright flashing light reads 3:00 am, turning back over I try to fall back asleep but nothing absolutely nothing happens and this has been going on for eight days straight and I'm this close to snapping. Breathing in and out I walk into the bathroom turning on the hot water maybe a hot shower will clear my thoughts. Striping out of my pajamas I walking into the shower and  just as the hot water hits my skin it instantly turns to ice cold water screaming in frustration I hit the hot water knob off cracking it letting the water sputter free.

Sliding down to the ground I rest my head on the tile  closing my eyes I let the water run down my body as my brain goes blank.
I must have fallen asleep after the whole ordeal because I wake to find the water still running and water leaking out the shower. Getting up I hear my bone cracking must have been a stif sleep. Looking towards the broken shower knob to see if I can close the shower I realize that it is completely broken so I try turning freezing the water and for once it works I see the water slowly forming into small crystals combing together letting out a small sigh. I grab a towel and walk into my room and instantly poof ice crystal all around walking towards the alarm clock I realize I been asleep for 4 hours wow.

Quickly dressing I open the curtain to get some light in and walk down stairs into the kitchen and I make a light breakfast. While eating I start thinking about
all that's happened and I wonder if getting the abilities now was maybe a curse not a blessing. Sighing I clean up and get to work currently I am making a detailed list of what to buy during November and December winter gear because of the harsh and long winters that will being in the apocalypse. Looking at the list I start to wonder should I bring the stuff in my house or in storage unit when I buy the supplies. As I am thinking this through I hear a knock on my door so I stop everything and move the list back in one of the cabinets. Walking towards the door I open it to find the last person I expected Dr.
