-Still 3rd person view-

The machine then started malfunctioning, spewing electricity jolts everywhere, giving the local area a good shake.

The people in suits disintegrated.

Joyce looked up, and the gate was now shutting itself.

Back at the mall, the Mind Flayer screeched like never before, jerking itself around in pain.

It flung its arms everywhere.

Kylie embraced herself for dear life once more, praying to not get hit.

Then, without another move, it collapsed, and all the life escaped from its meaty self.

And Joyce... she looked back up at the gate and Hopper wasn't there. He had disappeared. Joyce started to collapse in tears.

-Kylie's POV-

I let go, seeing as that the Mind Flayer fell and was now defeated.

There were tons of flames surrounding it.

I caught myself hyperventilating.

The Mind Flayer then made one more weak sound.

Mike zoomed to El, and Max to Billy, and before I knew it, Will to me.

"Oh, my God, Kylie!" He said, before embracing me.

I quickly embraced back before quickly feeling the pain from the fall in my arm.

"Ahh!" I groaned in pain.

"S-sorry," He said, slightly pulling away. He pulled up my hoodie sleeve and--

Oh, shit.

I groaned in pain again as I saw my arm almost PAINTED in blood, big teeth marks, and the bone snapped in two.

I didn't even really the broken bone until just now.

"Hey, it's fine, it's fine," He shushed as I collapsed in a mini fit of tears in his arms again, for the second time this evening, as I finally had a time to process (barely) everything that just happened.

He embraced me again, avoiding my arm this time, and I quickly hugged back.

"El !" Mike said, putting his hands on El's shoulders, and hugging her almost immediately.

"Mike!" She said back, crying in his arms, too.

Max slowly walked up, tears on the verge of coming down like a waterfall, to Billy.

Then it hit me--

Billy's so hurt and wounded...

"Billy?" She said quietly, voice slowly breaking, as she knelt down to his side to a Billy coughing up blood. "Billy, Billy, get up, please. Billy, get up, please, please!" She said, starting to break down.

I felt so bad for her...

"I"m sorry..." Billy managed to sputter out.

"Billy..." Max said.

Her jaw dropped wide, and Billy let out his last sharp exhale.

"Billy. Billy. Billy, wake up, Billy, get up. Please Billy..." She said frantically, before her jaw dropped again and quit shaking him. "Billy!" She started sobbing. "Billy!" She said, her voice breaking down again. "Billy..."

She then fell back in to Eleven's arms, who caught her, and started letting out a pool of tears.

"I'm sorry," El said, trying to calm her down. "It's okay, it's okay," She said, while Max collapsed in tears.

-3rd person view-

Joyce went out through the door, to see an exploded machine with weak electricity jolts spewing out.

As she got closer, seeing not a single trace of Hopper, she started crying.

"Hop!" She said, breaking down.

Murray ran up after her and spun her around. "Jim. Where's Jim?" He asked, and all Joyce could respond with was another sob.

Murray's face softened.

The other Russians in the facility bolted through the door, realizing what just happened, and Murray and Joyce got the signal to run.

Back at the Nelson farm to where Dustin and Erica were, they looked up and saw a ton of choppers flying through the air and towards the mall.

-Kylie's POV-

A bunch of choppers had arrived and quickly ushered us out the mall, and were extra careful with me seeing all the wounds I had.

I looked back and had many 3rd degree burns from skidding across the ground, deep teeth marks from the bite, a broken arm from falling, bloody cuts from falling, and more blood from the bite.

How the hell am I not dead?!

Military went into the burnt down mall.

They separated us all into different firetrucks.

When they sat me down, they put a light blanket around me, got some people form the lab to question me, and all while some others got supplies for all the injuries I had.

A few minutes had passed, and they started wrapping my arm in a bandage, and I had to spill the beans about the pyrokinesis.

And then, as if planned, my parents' car pulled up, and tears started to well up in my eyes again.

My mom was frantically looking around for me, while my dad stayed a bit back with my brothers.

When she finally caught eye on me, I quickly jumped off the truck into my mom's arms, who had started bawling.

I quickly shifted my arm in a position were she couldn't hit it, and hugged her back. Then, I started sobbing along with her, too.

-3rd person view-

Will was in the back of another firetruck when he spotted his mom in a Soviet uniform.

He left his blanket that was wrapped around him, and bolted to his mom, quickly embracing her.

Joyce sobbed when her boy hugged her.

"Thank God!" She said, crying.

She dug her face in his shoulder, and when she looked up, she saw Eleven, looking for her dad, but couldn't find him.

(And now I'm crying even harder. GREAT)

Joyce's heart broke once more knowing what had happened to him.

Then she and El had made eye contact, and El stopped.

Joyce's eyes only got glossier thinking of Hopper, and El saw it.

Surely enough, El got the hint.

El's facial expression broke slowly.

Tears started welling up in her eyes, slowly recognizing what Joyce was saying through her eyes.

A few seconds passed by, and those tears were now set loose.

El, too, now, started breaking down, water filling her eyes.

"No!" She mouthed.
